Recent "ahsuN Niu Year" Updates......
ahsun: =) Wow two weeks never update my blogs le....first thing is because the photos are not coming in....and also the time (or rather lazy to blog) due to overwhelming increase in tutorials and tasks to be done. But no worries....all has been dealt with....and hopefully clear them before the deadlines..... Would like to divide into sections to address each updates....here goes :
Driving : Driving has been fun and exciting as i have started to drive in the main roads, though not very pro, making alot of mistakes, but it's through all these mistakes that i learnt the most. Coordination of clutch and the brake and gears are important to ensure a smooth and accident free ride on the road. I've also trying to master the swing like releasing clutch when accelerating and also using brake efficiently whenever needed. Turning left and right with signal are ok for me but when it comes to main road while waiting to turn, might need more practice and also covered shoes shall be prefered for the lesson as i wore slippers the most recent lesson and found out not very efficient in holding the clutch pedal. Seat adjustment also very important as my legs are long, need to be have adequate space so that the foot of the left leg is rooted to the ground within the car. Mr tan has been great in guiding me through the lesson and hopefully, 2 mths time i will be ready for the Traffic Practical Exam. 17th Feb 2009....the BIGGGGGG DAYYYYYYYYY
Studies : Going into week 4, all projects have start to commence and also need to get all the team mates in some groups to start working our brains and generating lots of ideas with regards to the project tasks/questions given to us. Have a facebook "we-Key" application to create pages and answer a scenario online through online collaboration tools like facebook chat log, message area and through ice breaking to know more about the team mates. Another project done by me,shi jun, jun wen and calcin together for service systems modules which looks into service quality with regards to airline industry using performance matric, which is a tough one. I'm doing the Customer Satisfaction portion, hope i can find enough resources to write 2.5 pages of materials with respect to the section.
Chinese MooMoo Year : Well this new year really nothing much initially when a few days before chinese new year, all i feel is "just another 2 holidays...nothing much" !! But, guess what.......Day 1 - Went to uncle's house in Bukit Panjang, didn't really did much, went at 1 plus stayed till 5 plus go home. After that nothing to do we asked joyce,joanne and Mr bi to play poker cards. Jy also there and after joyce and co went home, me, hua,chew,guo zhong, jy played in between. It's like a tradition to play in between during chinese new year gradually these years. Also played blackjack in earlier card games. Exciting as once the money on the table was around $100++.....we even got the cover for the dishes to "seal" the money as we take 5 for toilet and smoking break. Damn funny lor.....hahaha......Anyway it was fun.....
Day 2 - All the aunt and cousins come to house to have lunch, this year was special as we open a "gambling den" on the dining table which previous years we don't have. Merge with joyce, but win abit only la....lucky not to lose alot. It's fun to play with relatives as a once-a-year thingy as not every gamble. Like what they say "小赌怡情"...gamble for fun to network....why not??? After lunch me,joanne,dorothy and her sis BIBIANA & DERBIE !!!! (paiseh old already can't remember ok!!!), went to watch gu tian le's and qu jun ru's show "家有喜事2009"....After the show went to jy's house and her mum and godfather gave me ang pow...also saw yan's sis emily there... also played some cards over there and won a bit la...a bit only...haha....
Day 3 - Initially got class but overslept, lazy to go lor, haiz....new year period hai de....haha....evening lecture also skipped as rina , lawrence , me , jy , peixuan , kian seng, edwin gathered at rina house for steamboat. Rina's mum also gave us ang pow....went to meet rina and law at ntuc for steamboat food spree....lawrence also bought 1KG of PRAWNS....i have never ate so many prawns in a day before lor....feel kinda....over le ba....but overall the dinner was great.....haha.... around each person $10 only....after dinner was......21 again....haha....the most popular game in casino and household....played till ard 2am den kian seng drove me to cheers....haha....
Day 6 - Work as usual, but after work went to joni's rp house at kembagan as she moved house again....super rich la her....haha.....met rose,clown and rose's mum took a cab from the mrt station to her house at laselle street along frankel avenue....impressed with the house exterior and also the number of cars she had....9 in total...and i think minimum for each car priced at $300k? close to that ba.....her house got 2 lifts, one recreational area for ktv and billards, swimming pool, around 7 rooms and her room at the top storey(3rd floor).....She also has two chocolate dogs....haha...very cute and small....around my 2 palm size only....she brought us around her house....feels like musuem visit lor...haha....den we also chatted alot la...about recent updates all that....jiayou ba...life is not a bed of roses....so have to be strong and endure....only then can you enjoy the fruits of your labour....or effort....labous sounds like giving birth....haha
Day 6 Part 2 : Asked Alot of people to my house ah....let me see.....the names are : Ryan, Lawrence, Kian Seng, Michael, Edwin, Rina, Jy, Yukun, Peixuan to my house for poker card games and wii session. Looks like everyone enjoyed the card and wii games....haha....that's what wii is for....grp to play and enjoys the fun of it....i even send zhuzhu to beat them in mario kart wii....hahaha....but later they switch to tennis and edwin vs michael was funny....cos they're very gan cheong during the game. Haha.....found out michael also got nintendo wii....maybe can tell him how to configure the internet setting as i found out about it le....in www.wii.com.sg ....Hope everyone enjoys the gathering though some friends cant make it....hopefully will organise another one maybe year end ba....see how it goes....haha....After the crowd went home....it's in between time again.....this time it's ah hou, me , jy , hua, chew playing....guo zhong became the cook for magie mee plus egg....using the big WOK....haha....damn funny lor....won around $50 ba....very hiong lor....ended the game at 2am plus ba....cos all got work and study.......
Day 7 - Bought my guitar Hero 3 while browsing the wii game forum in nintendo or www.wii.com.sg ... Quite a good forum to know more about wii settings, used games and also cheats and games recommendation....also included of course is the marketplace for buying selling wii accesories and games la.....haha.....try it out after i bought it...meet the guy steven @ pasir ris after work and macDonald lunch with chris @ tanjong Pagar Caltex House. Met him at 230pm lor....so far the game is great....trying out the tutorials on the guitar techniques and also the practice games....find that my fingers coordination sucks like hell....ahaha...need more practices....
Day 8 - Mahjong Session with ah gu hua and chew....played from 830 to 1am....played 1.5 "pot" only as got studies and sis got work.....didn't win but i think lose a bit lor....ah gu's the big winner....haha.....nevertheless it was fun to mahjong at home la...long time never MJ liaoz....lose touch also le....
Will Try to upload more photos for all to see my batam trip before cny period on 24,25th jan 2009.....nice!!!
