EnjoYablE Day....With Ntuc Members....

Haha.....well...last night was our company's Dinner & Sing Session....haha.....venue was at ChongQing Steamboat House...well it was really a good dinner as we had our mouths on all the types of food available in the "house"....we're also entitled to dimsum and dessert but only once lor....the small long pau and guo tie was delicious....we chose two soup base ; mala hot spicy and chicken soup. I prefer the chicken soup as it was much more "edible", not too spicy or taste too weird. Overall the Steamboat wasn't very good but at a certain standard, the orders were quite fast as well. Chin ning( manager ) also brought her daughter along and her husband....haha....really had a good dinner and took some photos as well using michelle camera. The people Attended the dinner are :

Chin Ning ( Manager ) + Husband and little chelsea, Michelle, Serene, Karen, Huiqing, Joanna, Zhaoyan, Charlotte, Daphane, Joyce, ME! ( MIA : Adeline due to stomach pain i think )

After the dinner, wonderful and really is wonder "FULL", we head towards K Box marina square. Find the fees too expensive le as we booked earlier on, the staff told us there's no package for us. I was thinking whether they're lying or what. But anyway, me,joyce,serene,karen,joanna,huiqing,michelle + her husband watson were there for the k session. As i told them i'm Ge Shen of the Night, they kept pestering me to sing songs. kaoz....like i'm cd player ah....but most of the songs still ok lar....jus that got a few are dificult to catch up ( new songs ). We even sang some duets and also " One Night In Beijing " haha.....imagine me singing it alone....have to act two types of voices lor....damn tiring lor.....haha....overall it's fun lor....but could be better la...think they're too full to sing....end up me singing most of the songs... ( opps..) but i zhao siah liao lor....now like overused throat....can sense some sore feeling.....haha.....after that karen and huiqing offered me and joyce a ride home....really wanna thank NTUC Counter team for the gathering. haha....really enjoyed myself and had a great dinner....looking forward to christmas dinner/party...haha..... Woo.........

Sianz....tmr start sch liao....alot of stuff still in backlog mode....die....why i always wanna leave things till late min den do lei...i also dunno....haiz....just cant find motivation to carry on....motivation....where are u....come back...... -_-"'

hmm....has been working for ntuc for quite a while...recently has seen alot of foreign workers come and go in the same place....they are like floating on the same spot....float and float.....like their life has been controlled by something....some law....some rules....which says they must fulfil this and that....before they can move on.....haiz....feel very sad....today got one customer came to re book for a test which he has failed and he said the lecturer or teacher in charge of the safety course even refused to answer some simple questions for them during their test.....why is the world turning to be so cruel...why must label foreign workers as slave and lowly workers.....we're all humans....cant we just treat everyone who deserves respect with respect.......RESPECT BEGETS RESPECT is a banner i saw on my way to chinese garden last night in clementi....

Treat those who deserves our respect with dignity and respect.

yeah....friday night...is the night....

Woo....maybe tonight's the night for me to go see see light/lantern displays at the chinese garden before mooncake month is over....haha...has been seeing alot of mooncake and BA gua sale at northpoint....(wonder ba gua and mooncake got any relevance ) anyway....might be going with ah bay and yan.... have to wait till evening time den will know...so i jus bring along my camera....haha...missed last years' lantern festival due to a stupid mistake i made....anyway...let's welcome...the Marine life lights display ba...hee... Yipee...next week is Term break...hehe...recess week....cool~...catching up all my backlog studies and revision...

Some updates :

Yeah...finally my desktop is repaired and my bro took it to N7 to repair ( only computer shop in yishun ) and costs around $200 lor....becos of the Fooking RAM and motherboard shit....haiz....now running better le....previously was like crawling....haha....recently i'm in Linkin Park....crazy over them...i love their songs man....really give me the andrenaline rush and motivated whenever i tune into their songs....heehee....hope i can find someone to go their concert....any linkin park fans pls leave a message on my blog...thanks...hee...highly recommended their new album "minutes to midnight" i love "leave out all the rest"...

Finally i got their album @ PS.....selling fast....hehe.... :P

Also recently found out my money has been using up very fast...no longer does feedback forms...has cut down some form of income for myself and also spending more than i can save..bank $$$ has also started to go lower and lower....sad....RESOLUTION : Eat less outside, buy only necessary stuffs, Save as much as possible ( i'm into collecting $1 coins ) heehee.....have collected quite a bit....hope can continue and create a form of saving habit for myself ba...hee...

Finally....One Monday Passed...

Yeah...finally...monday's over...tuesday here... wah last night was a hard night for me to pass as i had a terrible stomache...dunno what happened and where went wrong....it was like "giving birth" the pain....i mean i never gave birth before..but the pain i guess was similar....haha....den ate the "poh chai" pills and also drank loads of water....but still haven't go away the pain...damn painful....until around 9+ den i started to unload all the stuff ..that's when i started to feel better....think something went wrong somewhere in my diet...need to pya closer attention to it....

Anyway good health beats everything on earth....so beware of yr own diet and health as they might be giving off some signs and signals...so be more health concious...monday had a english presentation on grammar....and also new tutorial lecturer took over and tok all about stuff not on tutorial questions but on lab questions....haha...funny guy....anyway...after english had passed yest...it was like maths and gek module can skip...haha....but guess i slack a while liaoz...need to get up and continue the race...if not...i'll be lacking behind way too far....jus like today now at 2:30pm i havent got a single thing done....gotta get the feel and do my stuff.....

And recently i'm into Linkin Park....so for any linkin park fans where are going to watch them on 13 november 07 at singapore indoor stadium....jio me go ok....haha...cant wait to see them live in singapore....love their music....later i'm going to buy their new album minutes to midnight....nice rocks songs..some slow songs are cool and good for the ears.....really gives me the motivations to do work and feel very shiok...haha.....

Motivational Thoughts....of the Day

"I could have gotten into the bus if i chased after it....the guy behind ran after it though it looks far but he made it...it's all about effort"

This really triggers my motivational talk of the day here....well today was in buona vista trying to take bus to NUS when i saw the bus went past my sight....i could have chased after it...but i chose not to....a guy in the same train alighted together with me saw the bus n ran after it....eventually it looked though he wouldn't make it but he did....this really helped me to conclude that :

" If u make an effort to do something, no matter it's failed or success, eventually you should be happy and contented at least you tried"

I think it's all about making an effort to really go and do something which you "want" to do....make the want become an ACTION....because EVENT + RESPONSE = OUTCOME

Well...really spur me on for the day....heehee....songs really can make one "high" in a sense that higly motivational to do things...i think songs like "mayday songs" and "english rock/pop/R&B" really can helped me to study better...though songs without lyrics are preferred prior to other songs....classical also a very good choice....haha....have been experimenting with all different ways to stay motivated....quite fun actually...Must jiayou....jus like what the guy did today....

Woo....together we stand...together we fall....think that's what makes Taurus 2 section 2 bonded together as i have always believe true frenz will always be by yr side no matter how long u nv seen them..or hear fron them...the kinda feeling is always the same...

Today is a happy day as i met my BMT frenz for dinner....after their ORD....haha....well...we went to the Bali Place near PS and Somerset ( somewhere in the middle ) and had our dinner over there...a nice place for chilling and also to have a romantic dinner with yr loved ones if u ever go there....it;s sort of near this hotel...dunno what edward one....haha....nice lor...the songs....ambience is good....very relaxing....soothing....jus tat the service a bit lousy la....think they jus trying to chase us away after eating though not much people there eating also....we a grp of 8 person were by far the largest grp there tonight.. i ordered black pepper chicken chop and ate it unknowingly as i had FLU whole day....was cursed by dunno who....but doesn't matter.... after dinner we even went for a pool session....quite fun....dunno when will i see them again...but all i wan to say is all the best for everyone....new stage of our lives...JIAYOU BA...go live yr dreams....and GOALS.....

Lixin BirthDay CeleBraTion....@ Giraffe

Wow.. had a busy saturday..... was working with ntuc learning hub and only released after 530 as joy had something crop up last min.....closing do wrong...wah...den got indian at the counter...wanna change this n that...mafan.....haha...anyway got it settled and went to yishun to meet yan and co......only to realised that they wanna go PS....kuku bird 1.....made me come here n there.....went to buy a few small cakes at yishun central and one of them is a happy cake.....haha...looks like those wedding kind one...."li bing".... reach Ps den go Giraffe wait for them ( lixin, bay, yan).....

When they finally arrived after their K session at safra yishun, we managed to secure a table at giraffe as i think most of the table need priority booking one......so we went to 2nd floor of the Giraffe....and it was lovely at night...the lights....scenary....food.....ambience...all very perfect...but the menu sucks....as not alot of variety....more for chilling with a lists of drinks available......den we ordered our food which i noticed came out from the direction of the toilet....which was very surprising....haha.....we ordered ice cream, pasta, calamarri rings, and....brownies.....with hot chocolate inside....that was heaven.....anyway we didn't had very full meal but we enjoyed the meal...after that we head to macDonald at PS as the drinks at giraffe was too expensive and mostly wine n liquor....so we gave it a miss....but i know i'll definately go back there one day....

After mac Drinking session, we headed to Carrefour to look for tennis racket as i intend to pick up tennis a a sport....but didn't saw alot of variety of rackets though....instead saw roller baldes on sale...haha...$68 can buy one good pair of blades....so tempted to buy it as i have always wanna have one pair of blades all by myself...den can go roller blade....heehee.....anyway turn out to be yan buying as she got the display and last set of size 38 ( wonder other carrefour can stock or not ) and a blue color one...so good...next time she can go blade liao lor...tink i end of the month buy....hehe...den lixin tok about she wanna learn guitar....which inspire me to go learn it as well as i've always got interest in guitar and music instruments.....like drums also nice...piano....wah....really got so many things to do but most impt is studies now....so concentrate and jiayou ba... :)

hey hey...good news to share...i relaised my fav subject in pri sec poly n now NUS has been maths all along....i delcare my love for maths to be....of so much..so deep...falling deeply in love especially i took GEK module living with mathematics....even drew me closer to maths....really a very interesting subject worth exploring....today had a living with maths tutorial...which tok about theories and also concepts plus logic....very interesting....





There's this question about 3 boxes and 2 of the statement is false while one for the message on the box is true....den we have to find the box with the diamond....here goes the "story"





A participant of a game show is presented with 3 boxes marked A, B, C in which 1 box contain 24-carat diamond while other two contains peanuts... the participant is only allowed to open one box and at most one fo the 3 statement is true. Which box should she open??





A: " This box contains a diamond."


B: "This box contains peanuts."


C: " Box A contains peanuts. "





Model answer....cant solve by yrself?? here goes....





If the statement on Box B is true, then the statements on A n C are false. Since the statement on Box C is false, Box A contains Diamond and hence the statement on Box A is true, a CONTRADICTION. Thus the statement on box B is false. Hence Box B contains a Diamond.!!!





Similarly, if C is true, A and C must be false. Box A contains Peanuts while box B contains Diamond.!!!

yeah....although today had a super long lecture, but still i managed to tong thru the lessons...jus that lecture kept slping....really must buck up my stamina and concentration level le...must jiayou...den lab session first time i know how to do ( well jus follow the lab tutor instructions. ) and also got a fruitful day today...learnt quite a few stuffs....





Back at home....rested a while before going to yishun 925 for dinner with ws,yan,ck and lawrence. After that went john little buy something den went home. Constructed a Weekly Goaaaaaal Target as follows.... :

Wow....today 1st sit-in lab for me prove to be "crashed" as i dunno anything.....equipped with my lecture notes, practical notes and some personal notes....i walk into the lab....sat down....read the question....this came out from my head.... ?????? haha...dunno what shit the question asking...i guess same as the lab1....well....haven't really mastered linked list yet....hope i can before end of next wk....got a rough idea le....this weekend muz chiong all my revision....

Haiz....frenz in my poly are getting more and more out of hand....recently somemore wanna play "infernal affairs"....well.....this one is police....that one is spy....this one dun like dat one....PEOPLE....WAKE UP YOUR IDEA.....frenz are better than enemies right....who will like to have more enemies than frenz??? ANSWER : NO ONE!!! therefore we should maintain good relationship between frenz and we're not trying to make things difficult for everyone or what....i just need all to put yrself in each other shoes and think....maybe becos people tend to let emotions overrule...that will create more conflicts around us....hope all problems can be solved....seriously....also not much friends liaoz....dun wanna see another circle being CROSS OUT....

Sianz....this week is super sianz as i dun have any energy like what i did in the past to finish all my assignments and work....feel so helpless..lazy...useless at times...dunno what happened to me.....like there's some sort of encouragement for me or what....really felt...so lost....yes...LOST is the word to describe my feeling...i dunno what has happened to me.....really all of a sudden....time froze...brain froze...everything stopped.....no mood to do anything....even when i went out today....i dun have a destination and goal....i dunno why i board the train for....is this a sign of stress??? i dunno...i never had this feeling for a long long time.....or is it something else.....sianz....

Past few days has been great....i went to Comex 07 and even bumped into NYpians there....christopher haihan and jonathan.....went around the IT show them and also bought a
Canon Printer home....has been eyeing on it for a long time...actually also wanna buy the labtop screen protector and speaker and Samsung 2GB K3 MP3, wow that's a dream for me lor.....really have to work more part time and kambate le to earn more $$$....

Lately realised my $$$ in bank decreased alot....felt so sad.....maybe becos of the reckless spending in the month of August and due to friends' birthday and things like that really caused it to go to a all time low ( though $0 is the lowest in the past ) really felt very down.....and den alot of things i promised to get it done but never had it done eventually.... i really need a motivation or something sort of encouragement....PEOPLE.....pls tell me what to do....pls.....leave some encouraging words for me at my blog if u ever read it....thanks.....now my most urgent task is to finish my Coding for handing in tmr.....hopefully i can see the light after revising thru the lecture slides..... sad BS....
