Nice movie....The Leap Years...

Well i went to watch this local production....initially thought nothing of it...just a normal love story....but turns out to be kinda touching and sweet love story kind....

Story Plot from Yahoo Movies:

Based on a novella by acclaimed writer Catherine Lim, the story is about Li-Ann, a young Singaporean girl who meets her 'special someone' on 29 February. She decides to base her intuition on an Irish leap year tradition that no man will refuse any request of a lady and invites him out for a date. Together, they embark on a romantic journey that spans over 12 years, meeting only thrice in 12 years, on the leap year.

Story:

Well rough brief about the story is this gal since young has been told by a fortune teller in a temple that her lover will be somehow like the wind....come n goes without any signs....so she waited n waited and even dreamt about the guy back n shadow before she even met him and she eventually found him at the windows cafe.... and she wrote a poem to say that a guy must accept a gal's proposal on 29th feb as customed bya law in ireland....haha....quite interesting...and den the guy agreed by drawing a O and a K on either hand....stands in middle of the road....den after that..the date begins....and the wonderful romance began between li an and the jeremy....after that is a series of twist to the story and as they aged....more n more clearer picture comes to mind....comes to the 4th year where li an wanted to marry another guy but eventually knows about why jeremy needs to leave after the leap years meeting...really a nice movie to watch with yr loved ones...and corrine may songs....nice lor...haha...must go download now....or rather buy the CD....go support it..GO LOCAL PRODUCTION and CORRAINE MAY MUSIC
