Chalet....Rina Engagement....Birthday Celebration...
Woo....this 3 events...sounds very big difference but what do they have in common??? well...they're all held at one place....Costa Sand Downtown East....i must say Downtown East have underwent a huge makeover which makes it looks...HUGE....and new la...at least with more carpark slots and expensive charges for it...if not why would they build it...haha....let's start from the day of the chalet...saturday 1 MArch....
1st March :
Well i met yan and went for breakfast/Brunch at 795 coffee shop for duck rice and milo.. has been raining during the morning and weather was quite wet and cloudy...bad for BBQ Event lor....we will be going for BBQ @ Downtown East chalet booked by my Poly Fren Meiling aka Rina & her bf Edwin....but first day only our classmates will be there.... we met up with ck and went to Giant @ Tampines to buhy some basic neccessities and drinks etc....my first time there....quite big and spacious with free parking...weekend surely alot of people....haha....after buying the stuff, we headed over to Downtown East for preparations and checking in the room at block L....it was like the longest distance i have ever walked within the premises of Downtown East lor...with bags and drinks on my both hands....i wished that i could have a trolley ( but that wish didn't came true ) and me rina,yan had to take all the stuff ( ck went to source for free parking slots ). When we finally reached the room, i had to do the standard procedures....knock knock on the door...say "we're here to stay for 2 days...if any inconvenience, pls forgive us"....den open door and stand aside first....Yan say always need to do de....which i think why not...no harm ma....feel safer la....heehee...
Before the others came, we prepared the thongs, Collected the BBQ Wholesale stuff and also attempted to start fire when Lixin came...but failed...i think we almost used up the firestarters....haha....funny lor....here's a guide on it... haha...but i also learnt alot la...from faizal....we used Black Gold...which is said to be the better charcoal in the industry..i dunno...but it lasted us for hrs ...haha....
After most of the people came and the fire started....the BBQ commences....haha....had alot of food ah to eat...worth mentioning is the OTAH from BBQWHOLESALE... Nice....good recommendation by lixin zhuo....haha...cos she says that the otah v nice....which is true...i think end of the day left few only ah...lolx....after the BBQ...ei0215 also prepared some birthday celebration for me la....the usual cake cutting session n birthday song....and the cake was ice cream cake from swensen....love it lor....chocolate with ice cream inside....but a bit melted...and we jus just the spoon to eat the cake directly....haha....yes directly....lolx...den i also got coke, lime....ice pour all over me....haha....lixin also got "chilli sauced" by me...lolx....too bad she's standing nearest to me....poor thing....lolx....
Photo taking over, we went into chalet room to play cards lor....this new game lixin taught us to play...where by 6,7,8 are wildcards....to be put on top 3 deck of cards and others need to be added up to points of 21...so we go in clockwise direction and who got 21 before me den i'll have to drink the mixer ( chivas plus green tea....some even had red wine ) played will dunno what time....den i went to bath n we continued till some of the people left as they're not staying over....some of us started to play the pillow fight and creating chaos within the room...my joker from my deck of cards also kena slide to other people's room....haha....dunno whose weird ideas....but anyway....had loads of fun and photo taking....
Quite lucky for me as i have also struck 4D on tat day....though small but still a strike...quite happy la...lolx....i also treated them to pizza and kfc...( not entirely foot by me ) but thanks to all the guys for the gatherings and BBQ....thanks rina for the room....and BBQ items , "ransom" given to me by the classmates and also the cake...the food...the everything la...happiness all that fun...haha....also wished to thank yan for making this possible and also all those who came....hope we can have another gathering after the semester study ok....take care everyone....photos will be coming up....so stay tuned....haha....old liao...sianz... :P
