Ask yourself this question, 2011 has already left with only 4 months to go.... what have you done? Are you doing things that are bringing you closer towards your goal or drifting further away from what you want? Are you taking the necessary steps to make contact, talk to people whom you want to know, meet up with old friends, talk to your family, tell someone about your dreams and goals, making things happen???

Life is that simple actually, it's either you are driven by things that you want(PULL), or driven by things or circumstances that you do not want(PUSH)... it's all about balance isn't it...

Come Oct 26th, i'll be heading to shanghai for company trip for 4 days 3 night with manulife. It's a kind of appreciation for the hard work being put in during the past 8 months... but the game is not over yet, we must always aim higher and for the unexpected, which others didnt thought that you could do it;

" Tell yourself you can do it or not, either way you're right!!! "

Something that i learned during my ups and downs in this business; Staying positive might not bring you the results that you want, but staying negative will definitely kill off all opportunities and results that u strive to achieve. Hence, i always take things lightly as i truly believe in the things that i do for others. Just like luck, others always blame it on luck, whether good or bad, but eventually it boils down to 2 things; preparation and opportunity, as i believe that luck is merely preparation meeting opportunity, as we need to be always prepared for chances when it comes, grab it and woohoo!!!

Still alot of things to be achieved, and recently there're also good news within the down days as well;

1. HDB finally approved my Housing Loan for my yishun flat, *phew... now can relaxed a bit and wait for signing of lease to arrive and pick a good day to sign!!! Hahaha

2. I struck TOTO.... so heng

3. Things like looking brighter in work and personal life

4. Building more networks around me

5. Going for my graduation photo taking with family this coming weekend!!!

6. Achieved my 30% tier of bonus for august!! hoooray!!!!

It's always good to share good news with friends who are still reading my blog, i thank you guys for the support; nevertheless, let's work hard towards the end of the year before 2012 comes and achieve all our goals and dreams together!!

Have been working non stop since the end of Chinese New Year.... with all the new challenges for the year, i can't help but look back and review what have i done right or wrong, i'm glad i did that no just for work, but for friends as well, relationships, communications, family, and also for myself.

For work, things are starting to move on and i'm more independent to do things in a logical way, helping existing clients achieve the kind of financial planning that they need, planning something within their budget and helping people around me; family, friends, mere acquittances to fulfill what they need.... I'm appreciate the fact that i'm in such a position to help people realize what kind of financial planning they had done and what adjustments are needed for them at the moment, it's always difficult to convince people but it's a challenge.... i truly believe; "As long as you're sincere enough, people will sense/see/feel the effort put in to help them."

For friends, i can say that although i know more people as day passes by, all of us only need 2 to 3 true friends who will tell u upfront if your face is dirty or so; i have been connecting to friends on a much more personal level than before and i appreciate and thankful for this arrangement, i'm able to know my friends better and also know the way i communicate with the people around me, it's amazing to become very observant and to spot out patterns from it.

For family wise, after moving out from yishun, i truly understand the kinds of feeling how my parents feel for me; like for example, my mum will actually tell me to eat at home even though she knows sometimes i'm busy to go home, hence i make an effort to go home at least once per week, to see my cute niece and nephews.... and also my parents and siblings... I have also made a huge effort to organize outings(which i'm quite pro at now) to go for a short genting trip in end june, i hope it can be a huge success to: 1. know my relatives better, 2. Not just meetup with relatives only on CNY, it's a limiting belief and it should be discarded, 3. Bring my parents overseas!! (*Althought my dad needs to work, hence only my mum can go with me) I totally believe that the sole purpose of this trip will drive me to achieve the results that i want....

For me, ahsun, i managed to convince myself that i deserve a rewarding career and the kinds of success that i defined as attaining most of my personal goals; Learning NLP, making it to the top production agents, Consistent activities for my business, Learning how to invest and use my $$$ to put into work, buying my car by end of this year. All these are achievable only if i feel that i deserve them;

- I finish my NLP Practitioner Course

- I'm generating more activities for my biz

- I'm going to attend investing course in options trading this coming aug(Excited!!!!)

AS of today, i'm still fighting for what i want in life because i feel that i deserve those success which i list down for myself. If you think hard enough, what you think might just come true. Therefore, always think positively and create positive outcomes from whatever event that we face!!!

Chinese new year always holds a certain meaning to me.... whenever it's nearing... the feeling will somehow be "Boring" , "No mood" , "Nothing to look forward" etc.... but when it comes... things will be different.... every chinese new year is a new routine... meeting new people... planning new and fun stuffs to do.... new house visiting... new habits to cultivate and new goals.... (*get more ang pow still unchanged)

Particularly... the reunion dinner is a meal which all of my family member gathers together and dine... although we don't exchange much words... but actions... expressions and gestures says it all... our family don't like to talk things out... rather... we use actions to represent ourselves.... "Actions speaks louder than words" ... i think that's quite appropriate and one of the key characteristics within our family culture.... =)

Chinese new year for the coming rabbit year bornes different meaning to me

-> New working environment and more places to visit

-> Relatives from GF side to handle and socialize to know them better (*can also find out more how wendy was when she's young... heehee....)

-> Must start to give parents allowances for the salary i have been getting since i started work

-> New members of the family added (Ashley & Tedric), creating more lively atmosphere at home

-> Start of countdown to taiwan trip in march.... soon... i can fly off sg and embrace taiwan with both arms.... hahaha....

Alot things changes but tradition remains... so probably i will be staying back at home during the chinese new year eve to "Shou Ye", a practice whereby children tries to stay up late so that their parents can achieve longevity.... this year i'll probably get vegetarian for the first day of new year as it's been said that eating veg on new year day itself is equivalence to 3 years worth of charity? hahaha.... worth a try anyway.... heehee....

Bought mostly shirts for new year clothes as i can use them for office wear as well... haha.... bought also a new pedro shoe for myself... yes... expensive but i feel that it's worth it lar... so can splurge abit on myself after working so hard... after CNY... the real work starts... this is just warm up... so must jiayou!!!

Updates:

"Business" - Has been busy running around to do reviews, settle policy admin and clearing target.... Feb will be a super duper busy month as bonus is nearing... must jiayou to achieve it!! heehee...

"Personal" - I don't know why but lately has been feeling motivated and charged up .... already on-going for the past few days le.... i slept like 5 hrs per day.... but still managed to last till wee hrs the next day nighttime... probably is i found my purpose in life.... every steps that i take are now towards my 5 year goal.... so therefore... i'm very very focused on the results and taking massive actions to make it become reality. Already reading up some books recently.... some interesting books i bought are Dale Carnegie's "How to win friends and influence people" , "Lee Kuan Yew's Hard Truth" , "Strength Finder 2.0" & from the straits times today... i read about this book which the reporter read about named as "Predictably Irrational" .... Just feel like reading finish them by feb... i'm sure if i put my heart into it.... i will be able to achieve it.... cos i believe i can do it since i done it before in my mind.... =)

Social - Have been meeting up friends whom i never contact, really had a good time talking to them.... updated about their latest happening and also understanding their financial health... it's still the same stuffs... most people don't know or understand what they buy

PS: "Knowing what you buy for a lifetime is totally worth it than what you buy at the supermarket that you use it once and that's it. That's why i emphasize my friends to really understand and see whether the products they buy do they suit their current needs & budget? Because, ultimately, the decision lies on the consumers no matter how well the financial adviser can propose plans to potential clients."

Being in the information age, it's a massive challenge; To get things right and do the right things... people nowadays are equipped with latest information, therefore we need to be at the forefront of our line and be ever ready to learn and listen to people... Most people like to talk about themselves... so we can position ourselves to take on a listening role bah.... and listen more... boast less...that way.... u can make more friends... =)

Wow... i mean seriously wow!! 2010 ... is gonna be over in a flash... and here comes 2011.... year of the rabbit.... turning 26... the year of positioning.... looking back at 2010.... things seems to have mould themselves out the way it was supposed to be.....

I had loads of gathering, activities with closed friends from NYP, NUS and soccer friends of course....

I knew more people with the embarkment of my new career....

I learnt more skills and knowledge with regards to the operating of the business and exposure to different frameworks....

I found someone who was as terrible as me... haha... -> Wendy

I found the "calling" in my life which was to help more people whom i care for

I learn how to appreciate the finest things in life and learn to give-and-take

I finally no need to go to school anymore for slpy lectures and project deadlines

I have graduated with a NUS Honours Degree in Computing(Major in Information Systems) Specialization in Service Science, Management & Engineering(SSME)

I start to plan for my life in 1,3,5,10,20 years time with goals and dreams i set out to achieve in my life!!

So so much in 2010.... makes it a wonderful year... and a year to look forward to in 2011.... for more goals.... dreams to be achieved.... i believe goal setting is like a compass.... a target board for us to base all our little decision towards the bigger goal we have at the back of our mind.... it's necessary.... no matter how big or small... as long as u know what u want... u will get it.... somehow... haha....

Just to share my goals for 2011 as follows: =)

1. Buy a Toyota Corolla Axio 1.5X in July 2011

2. Learn how to play Golf by June 2011

3. 10 day visit in Taiwan in March 2011 with Wendy!

4. Attend Stock Trading Course with SGX Academy by Sept 2011

5. Attain double ticket convention to European countries in 2012 by Oct 2011, earning on average more than $4000/mth

6. Learn how to COOK by next X'mas 2011!!!! -> noobcook.com

7. Really really go for a jog at least once every week to train for IPPT

8. Carry on my mission: Ensure all my family and friends around me are well equipped with proper financial planning for themselves or their family members in the years to come!!

I think goals and dreams aside.... they will be stuffs which most of us will wanna buy and drop them into the wishlists.... haha... here goes:

- Canon D550 with Lens (EF S18 - 55IS)

- Logitech Wireless Keyboard + Mouse

- Upgrade to Iphone 4G
- E-book reader (Amazon Kindle, Apple ipad etc)

- Seiko Watch

- Mountain Bike for nigh cycling

- More business wear and shoes

So there are more or less the items to grab in 2011... haha... wishing everyone a happy new year 2011, with wonderful dreams and goals to work towards..... and of course... stay happy always.... =) What's the point of working towards your goal if it doesn't makes u happy right??? =)

Every end is a beginning of something great!!!

Yesss!! I officially ended my 3 and a half year of NUS study.... graduating with Bachelor Degree in Computing, Major in Information Systems, Specializing in Service Science, Management & Engineering (SSME)!!!! Yippeeee!!!

Had my last paper last friday, straight away headed for celebration.... had lunch with shi jun, jun wen, calvin & maurice @ Crystal Jade at Holland V.... ordered the Yang Chow Fried Rice.... Love it totally... haha... the fragrance can just kill.... haha.... superbly nice.... also ordered some dim sum from the menu and ordered the roasted pork meat that we missed out the previous time as it was sold out.... although all of us except maurice have finished our paper... we deserved the break as it's the last paper in NUS.... haha....

Then we started to talk about jobs... careers.... life in NUS... what will our future be etc....activities for dec.... mini gathering on 1st dec for drinking session with all the close friends we had in NUS... @ vivocity... haha.... really looking forward to it... =)

After lunch... as we walked to buona vista... someone suggested watching movie since it's still early... so jun wen suggested why not go causeway point for harry potter's movie... haha... but calvin and maurice gave it a miss... so me, shijun and junwen went ahead... got there... but the movie only starts at 3:45pm when it was only 3pm.... so we went arcade to play some games... haha... ages since i played games there... played guitar hero and basketball game.... before we headed for the movie....

The movie on the whole was quite draggy.... was mainly about how the dark lord tried ways and means to kill harry potter and trying very hard to find their hideouts.... with some of the good characters sacrificed in the process.... and the process continues with the "3 brother" story... so part II as predicted will be finding the stone to revive dumbledore, retrieved back the his own magic wand and kill Lord Veldemort.... haha.... as predicted by jw...

Saturday was a night outing with the cousins... haha... had tonnes of fun firstly... dinner @ Yum Cha Chinatown... steamboat dinner + Dim sum + Peking Duck + some other side dishes... stomach was blowing up... haha... but we still managed to finished it... after that met up with wendy and went to this KTV pub 1819 near outram mrt...

Cool place.... with great sound system and cheap booze... haha.... ordered a tower with 6 of us; Joanne, Joyce, Debbie, Dorothy, me & Wendy.... played dice bluff game and also number guessing game... haha... really enjoyed the night after such a long period of mugging for exams.... =)

Sunday, supposingly was trip to JB with NUS peers... but... jw's passport expired without him knowing it!!! haha... so we had to make a U-turn back to Singapore... haha... attendendees were alvin, jj, jac, jw, shijun, calvin & me.... initially thought of going to punggol for seafood dinner... but changed our mind... went to Turf club first... haha.... and view a live horse race... and betted $10 as well... heehee... but lost :( alvin and co bought number 2 and they won $23 i think.. haha.. lucky asses.... =) Beginner's Luck i think... heehee...

After that, we headed to bugis for steamboat but only to found out that they only opens at 5:30... so we went for tau huey & you tiao somewhere near Selegie.... before heading to Paradiz Centre to play pool.... i really suck at it.... missed hitting the ball, giving up clear chance to gain points ( *we played by point system and loser must peel prawns) haha... eventually i peeled.... ahaha... but had lots of laughter and fun lor... kns one... haha....next time must train pool... heehee....

After pool is steamboat again!! wah... at that point of time already super not feeling well.... think because of last night's drinking and eating some of the fried food... like fried soft shell crab and oysters.... sinful and super burning my throat... plus my flu which was pestering me all day long... super sianz....

Really wished to say thanks for all those who came to celebrate... drink.... party and laughed.... haha... it's always great to be with friends after a long period of hard work and effort.... hopefully everyone will strives hard for their career next... and we shall meet up more often to update about our lives... =) Jiayou everyone!! It's 5AM!!! I'm in school!!!

Supposed to find a place to slp in school.... who knows.... so many people hogging the usuall good slping hideouts.... shit!!!!

Having my 9am paper later.... yet i still haven't slp.... damn zai lar me.... lol....

Already finished my revision at around 1am.... went to NUS macDonald for supper den came back to School of Computing..... Suddenly... i realized.... i will be having the second last paper of my uni life....

Looking back.... i start to miss the days of mugging.... rushing for projects with a team of warriors.... good friends.... some commandos.... some officers.... some chao keng soldiers.... haha.... but we gel together.... we talk, laugh, work, enjoy, play, dine...... and soon will graduate together!!! Sometimes.... it takes time to realized that time is running.... and soon certain lifestyle will change.... new ways of living will be adopted.... People change.... due to different environment and timing....

Sometimes, it takes a little story here or some hearsay from some friends to realized some big things which have been missing from my routine life.... i should change... for the better.... break out of my usual routine... to re-learn what i have learnt and not skilled enough.... i shall perform at my very best.... at least i know... if the things i'm doing doesn't feels right.. i have to feel alright... inject some fun into it.... only i can start to enjoy... no use crying over spilled milk (*also i don't drink milk though.... ) but the point is to stay positive.... and stick to it!!! It's damn important!!!

After this friday.... NUS shall be in my portfolio.... as a school which nurtures me.... to become one of the key workforce in the society.... to say that i learn alot in NUS is BS...or rather.... i feel that it's the people i know over my 3.5 years in NUS that made a difference to my life....

The education and knowledge gained nevertheless are just stepping stones to my degree.... but the people, their values, goals, dreams, mindset i what i seriously have learnt over the years... good or bad.... mixture of them... @ the end of the day..... just need to ask myself one question "Have i done my best??" If yes... good.... at least the results i get i will not be disappointed and regret... if no.... Screw it.... that'll be time wasting.... hahaha

Journey... is a word to use when there are different life paths for us to choose.... and we eventually have to make a choice..... regardless it's due to whatsoever reason.... stick to it.... perservence and work hard towards it.... you will surely get something from it... be it learning experience or mini success.... Because it takes 7 mini successes to make up one BIG SUCCESS!!!

Jiayou everyone.... really looking forward to December ... a month filled with challenges... and time to push myself up to new frontiers.... BREAKTHROUGH our usual circle.... only then we can see greener pastures outside the circle.... =p

Been very busy lately to even update my blog.... nevertheless... i know you guys have been checking it for any new updates... maybe some short updates for now:

1. Attained my bonus(40% tier) for month of August and excited to embrace September 2010, new goals, new target... Jiayou!!!

2. Overwhelmed by the assignments and tasks coming at me, gotta burn more midnight oil and organize my schedule well enough to tide over this period of time

3. Need to be more proactive in scheduling appointments and meeting more people to share with them the power of financial planning with regards to their life.

4. Can't wait to graduate at the end of November after my last exam paper in NUS.... Yahoooo!!!!

5. Attempted my first roadshow event on 6th Sept @ Jurong East Bus Interchange and got 4 names from 4 hrs of duty.... =)

6. Getting my life back on track in exercising, working, studying, playing all as hard as i could. Life is all about balance right??? =)

7. Need more self motivation in order to achieve the success which i desire.... JIAYOU!!!

I hope everyone is doing great lately and continue to work hard towards your goal... you will nevertheless reach the destination where you wanna go as long as you have a plan in mind. =)

Got a new corporate name... my name is Edward Shee.... I guess i will be using this name for a long long time until i'm not working or until my name goes bad... lolx... which i wouldn't allow lar of course..... This summer holiday have been a fruitful and challenging one.... which allows me to learn new things.... attend training sessions and be exposed to new concepts... new ways of approaching a common thing which everyone perceive differently....

I got to know about techniques and ways people use to understand, explore, explain, impact other people's lives in positive manner.... It's kinda like helping people to achieve their long term goals which people always put off to do until the last minute .... they'll realized it's all too late to do so....

As i went through different classes and lessons.... different experiences were shared.... stories were told.... activities were done.... brainstorming was executed... tested and proven systems are passed down to us.... we don't need to try to test the market... or else the market will test us back.... it's a proven system of many years.... and more years will come for us.... this batch of new generation of people to excel in whichever field we specialized in... to attain personal success....

As i've always believe.... people don't buy what they want to buy but they buy what they need... i strongly believe this product is something which you don't need to use use.. but once you want to use it.... it might be too late to actually do anything about it....

It's important to know... what to protect yourself from... what to plan and how to go about doing them together...it's a matter of seeing things in a different way.... i guess.....

I've learnt that... Right Now... i need to organize myself... different tasks... goals... priorities.... and more importantly... time!!! I realized i have been wasting too much time... trying to find what i want in life... i truly believe... i have found it.... am working hard towards it... and will strive to be the best that's yet to be.... thanks to all my friends and closed ones for the support rendered... i will continue to be a sponge.... to absorb as much as possible... learn new knowledge... read up more... do more... fail more... learn more.... and succeed!!!

Kl Trip Continue…

At Genting!! Eh I shall let the pictures speak for itself!! :D

Strolling around… Nice nice weather there!!

At night we decided to watch movie!! And we chose the 1.30am show haha! :D Went to casino a while before we got so bored out of it, then we went to take neoprint!! Hahaha made it into a card :D Then we head back to hotel to makan and rest before we catch our movie!! It was great and relaxing!! :D

Next morning, we woke up for hotel breakfast… See my baby there? He totally love the weather!! Oh my… Muacksss! :D

Spa time!!!! Hahaha we went separate for spa before we come out and use the comp together… Hahaha quite a nice and lovely place. Relaxing for sure!!

At KL’s twin tower… took a few pics here and there and of course not forgetting to try A&W which is no longer in Sg… And… It wasn’t exactly fantastic hahaha no wonder phase out liao… LOL! Whoops…

The shops at twin tower!! A lot of luxury goods thus a lot of window shopping… But I bought quite a number of stuffs from SASA during this trip though… And from FOS haha…

With dad… During this trip, not only he paid for the hotel for 2 nights, hotel capitol first night @ KL, First World Hotel world cup room second night @ Genting and last night is at his new apartment. Scare the shit out of me though lol as it was vacant for a while thus while I was crapping half way I saw this big cockroach, and thus I finish my crap and in my attempt to get rid of it, another 2 small ones appeared LOL! Terrrrriblleee!! Hahaha… Anyway Dad also took us to eat a lot of good food!! And teach me how to take care of myself :)

The last day of the trip before we left for home… And while in the coach home with baby…

It was a wonderful trip!! Love it totally :D Thanks baby!! Thanks Dad… Love you both!! :D

Haha after the trip, went straight to baby’s house… And guess what, we went to KTV!!!! Hahaha shag ahhh!! LOL! But it was fun and enjoying for sure!! <3 ^^

The Days of my NSF Life… Continued….

Actually by going back to serve my remaining liability… i came in with the mindset of mounting duty all over again… although the fear of uncertainty of the new environment actually scares me…. “What if i can’t do well?” … “What if too ‘siong’ how?” … I often question myself before the thing actually happens… which is bad… i should expose myself to changes… which can be good or bad… it matters whether what kind of ‘filter’ we put on to spot whether more good or bad stuffs are involved….

It turns out to be…. become admin guy @ Registry…. life becomes slack… and time consuming…. everyday is trying to find stuffs to be done… reading newspaper… going for canteen breaks…. lunch…. surfing internet for soccer news(*due to the World Cup Fever) and also…. talking to the people working over there…. they’re super nice lor to “disruptee”(a term to name us whom has went for studies while owe SAF few months of NSF days….) but the life there… was good… haha… alot of free time on my hand…. more time to do my own stuffs…. like swimming…. going to gym…. training up myself for IPPT… i suppose before next March… i needa take it le… so…. Bump into some familiar faces as well… lots of new structural changes to unit… but cookhouse, e-mart and some other stations remains the same…. sometimes it’s just good to relive the good old memories…

Life during training was tough…. but tough time doesn’t lasts… tough men does…. haha… and the fun bunk mates and platoon mates around…. everyday seems to pass in a flash… of cos not everything are good… management was terrible…. duty was taxing…. nevertheless…. they form part of what i did in my unit…. heehee…. awaiting July 12!! the day i truly ORD-ed…. =)

Yep!!! We bought the shoes from BATA @ Causeway Point.... for about $30 per pair i guess..... acrylic paint were bought at Art Friend @ Bras Basah complex..... Palette from Popular also @ the complex.....

We kinda started with conceptualization of the design we wanted.... dearie thought that maybe we can take reference from "转角遇到爱" de shoe design... and some other from the web.... haha.... so we did some mini research and began to sketch our design onto the shoe.... being a vvvvvv lousy artist.... i had to take longer time to sketch them onto the shoe itself.... colouring were also added after the sketch is roughly done.... agar-agar do.... being my first time doing.... haha.... love the design....above is the outcome of our effort!!!

Thanks dear for giving me the chance to decorate our own shoes.... woohooo~~~ another item added to our list of "love items" .... heehee.... =)

NUS Exam Results.... Not what i expected but not too bad either....

Woohoo.... Finally got exam results from last semester study.... but really... not what i expected... nevertheless... i passed all my modules... lolx... sad to say that pass is the benchmark now to get all the degree.... but i shall aim for higher grades next semester... lolx... as the saying goes: "The higher you aim, the better chance of you achieving your goal, and even if you don't, u will hit somewhere near yr goal."

Some school mates having internship this summer holiday while i will be busy serving NS and doing up my client base..... meeting, appointments, doing reviews.... going for training.... can't wait for the activities to unfold and learn as much as i could.... really feel the sense of direction emerging and written down even signifies that i must achieve it.... this sense of certainty.... really propels me forward... to go out and grab what i want in life....

Because success is what YOU define... not your teacher, your parents or friends.... something which comes from within yourself....

Need to jiayou for next semester of study.... my final semester le!! Yeah.... with more things to juggle.... time to make full use of my time management skills, organization skills and good planning to adhere to different aspects of my life.... =)

It's official.... Received the letter on Saturday 5th June 2010 .... "Training to be soldier report on 9th June 2010 @ CDS" ..... opened up the letter on the morning... finally it arrived.... was waiting for it for like 3 weeks le.... kaoz.... "they" are super efficient lor.... kaoz.....

And was asked to report to something like S1 BR @ CDS.... think it's the office i guess.... hmmm.... in Number 4 Uniform... which i think i should be able to wear lar... lolx... havent try.... later at night gonna try it on and see how it goes..... guess i never grow that much till i can't fit in right...(*sadzzz......) nevertheless.... it's an opportunity for me to go in.... fulfil my duties.... train up my physique.... do some networking inside... hahaha.... gonna target those officers and senior ranking personnel inside.... i guess they need more protection than we do ba.... and having long working hrs without much time to use their time to spend money.... makes them sort of a good market to go into.... =)

Shall keep my eyes wide open, ears open and pockets tight.... haha... gotta cut down on the canteen break.... =) guess much have changed inside there le.... can't wait for wednesday to come.... another morning that i need to wake up early le... .sianz.... =)

Made a major decision.... Decision is what shapes our destiny... and Action actually steps through the plan to execute them bit by bit.... making me get closer to the ultimate goal eventually.... Have been reading Anthony's Robbins "Awake the Giant Within" book and found lots of useful techniques to apply in my journey.... my new journey.... i feel that i need more motivational techniques... know-how.... good models to learn from and positive/constructive beliefs to build on and model so i can attain the same level of success at a shorter rate..... i don't want to hasten it too fast that i made a lot of mistakes along the way.... although.... failure are what guide me towards success as i learn from them.... what makes the failure a "good failure" will be the learning experience i took from the feedback of that particular failure itself....

Lots of stuff to settle.... the search for the 5 most important people in my new career is on.... haha... almost all are "captured"..... and got 3 potential clients including myself on the queue.... haha.... shiok!!! It's a good start.... must maintain the standard and keep up the good work.... i need to put on my learning cap.... to learn, train, make mistakes in front of my mentor and polish my skills.... so when i'm ready... i can go out and face the clients on my own.... shall merge those experiences, skillsets and knowledge i learnt as my own... to use them as my own..... feeling a bit jitty.... but... that's what makes life challenging isn't it???

Time to get hungry and stay foolish!!! Jiayou!! Crave out a new career ahsun!!!

Goals: What have i achieved.....

Sad to say.......Goal setting is easier said than done with..... but nevertheless.... i always try to go for what i want... so i wouldn't regret the time wasted or spent during the process of pursuing our individual goals..... just like every other person... procrastination always sets in when i have a list of to-do stuffs.... so how do i clear those stuff @ the shortest possible time leh??? i feel this is what i will do:

1. Write the tasks down

2. Describe the urgent-ness of the tasks and why it should be completed now

3. Think about why doing other stuffs(example cleaning table, watching tv) are not impt and should not be attempted like now....

4. Link the pain of delaying the urgent tasks and pleasant of accomplishing it

5. Get yr ass moving and just do it!!!!

These should be what i will do in future when procrastination sets in.... in the past.... i always let procrastination to eat away my timing.... and feeling lost.... i will really wait till last last min before i do those stuffs.... by then i will be slpy(*yawning) hungry or bored.... no motivation at all.... shall read up on NLP techniques to focus and concentrate myself in different situations so i can focus better..... fully utilized my time to the fullest....24 hrs a day isn't a lot lor..... ZzzZzzZzz

So what exactly have i achieved.... well i can say those small mini study goals i set out to do have mostly been accomplished.... mini tasks and errands to run have also been cleared..... some major goals unattended to are reading books.... reading online articles.... attending seminars for training in investment knowledge..... shall put aside goals which requires large amount of monetary support away first since there're secondary..... also i'm in the amidst of learning and expanding my financial literacy in areas of personal finance and stock market.... with the amount of knowledge online and in e-books.... i'm sure if i set out to do it.... i will accomplish it.... heehee!!! Jiayou!!!

Another goal which i missed out totally is fitness goals.... needa get my ass moved and kicking to run... swim... go gym!!! hahaha..... time for a serious makeover and workout!! Don't wanna stay at home become crouch potato anymore.... had enough of carrying those fats around where ever i go... lolx.... i need privacy.... FATS... pls go away.... ok.... !!!!!!

Yep... .time to reset new goals and re-enforce my goals in 5 areas of my life....pertaining to health, money,study,work and relationship!!!! Wheeeee...... must do it !!! Hopefully everyone have a goal to work towards....else u're like a headless-fly.... falling into other people's plan.... which i don't think they will draft out a very good/beneficial plan for ya huh..... so do take note....!!! =) To our Success!!!

Work: Lhub & Tuition Assignments

May marks the end of my tuition assignment which i had with one of the post graduate adult student who pursuing his PHD in NTU..... sad but... every good stuff must comes to an end right.... had been happily drawing lots of money from the tuition assignment.... makes me think that tuition-ing is a relatively good income source.... quoting from one of the motivational trainer i knew and heard from when i attended his introductory session.... he mentioned that to earn $200 more per mth is not difficult... tuition can be an alternative source of income if we're willingly to do so.... i agree with that....

Has been sending notifications to online tuition agencies and coordinators but no results from them either... sianz.... wonder whether i should go and look for students on my own.... since students are everywhere.... like targeting GCE O Level students in A/E Maths or Primary school mathematics.... should be good for me since i have the utmost interest in mathematics.... compared to other subjects..... *thinking.... Or if anyone got any job openings for assignment... feel free to contact me alright? Thanks in advance... need it badly!! hahaha.... =)

As usual.... weekends morning are all reserved for Lhub weekend duties.... recent changes in work place has also change some of my perspective of the work over there.... like why do they have such high turnover rate in other departments.... the change in company vision.... new focus... new courses.... new collaborations.... well... applying from what i know from strategy management.... they're perharps trying to diverse the courses available....shifting the focus to PMET i guess... which is a niche group of people in the exec or management level.... providing training for them.... hmmm.... then there's the popularity of language courses.... etc.... so many changes.... time to catch up on the email updates and re-learn all the stuffs again.... because i firmly believe.... when u equipped yrself with the necessary knowledge and supplementary knowledge you should have.... nothing should be able to daunt u upon the course of customer service process itself.... even if anything goes wrong.... customer just wants solutions isn't it.... even if i can't give them.... i can make them feel better.... the stuffs i learnt from CSP course really teaches me alot... changes altogether what customer service is and what it's not.... glad i went for the course.... lolx....

What other working opportunities can i still pursue??? I'm not too sure.... but i know.... there're always working opportunities out there to be discovered by us.... guess i need to break out of my comfort zone and grab those opportunities... who knows.... it might change my life entirely!!! =)

Study/NUS Work Updates....

What a great month of March, April through May..... Projects, Assignments due.... Class Tests.... Lectures.... Discussions.... Brainstorming Sessions.... and running around to meet clients.... schedule tasks among group members.... luckily i have a great project team working and also great team mates not to mention.... jun wen, shi jun, jac, calvin, maurice, patricia.... thanks for the great work u guys have done!!! I'm sure out project work couldn't have been at the highest standards without all of our commited team members!!! Hurray!!!!

Another semester have gone.... going into my last semester.... i starts to wonder.... whether all the hard work i have put into the previous semester... have they paid off?? Have i really learnt anything from this University Education Systems during my stint in NUS??? I start to think back.... because of the diploma i took previously.... stuffs wasn't that constructive.... and knowledge learnt were gone as soon as i wants to recall them.... that doesn't feels good.... in the process of studying... i can't help but wonder.... am i learning what the industry are doing??? or i gotta re-learn again when i starts to work in the society???

I guess the answer is pretty procedural... it goes like.... enter uni -> study hard for a good degree -> grab a job after graduation -> earn lots of money -> etc....

Can there be a possible alternative path i can take.... i start to explore other career opportunities.... and think about the pros/cons if there's any.... lots of uncertainties ... but nevertheless.... that's what the futures has in hold for us.... to embrace the future and grab hold of opportunities now.... learn as much as i can....so that i can learn and react to the different events happening in the unknown future....

I'm sure the knowledge i have learnt in NUS will propels me forward in whatever industry that i go into.... because.... IT is everywhere.... and expanding.... and integrating into every enterprises....

Haha.... enough of the deep thinking stuffs i had.... doesn't even sound like me anymore.... let me see whether i can get any photos to upload...... ZzzZzzzZz

Wow.... this is becoming a monthly update for my blog... lolx.... busy busy!!! had a great month of April.... looking forward to may!! June July.... until school reopens again!!! And yep!!! Wow.... the time has been passing vvvvv fast.... with projects... outings... work... tuition.... and travelling around.... it's good to enjoy and indulge in the busy period of time... at least it keeps me awake.... and motivated.... recent changes to my life will have a good old effect on my life at least for the next 3 - 5 yrs ba.....

Love: Yeah... i'm sure most of ya out there already know... haha... so no need to say much.... maybe some of the people around us are curious how did we get together... well... i would say it's more of understanding each other... and some secret "dates" which really connects us together... i just feel that she's the one.. it's a kind of indescribable feeling... that kinda attracts me to her.... she have this kind of personality which i adore the most.... happy... easy-going.... easy to talk to.... no barriers.... super friendly(*although she could be fierce to people she loafs) and also .... how she can just simply match what i look for as a gf.... haha... dun wanna sat too detailed... cos somethings are just meant to be unsaid.... awaits to be found out.... heehee.... super happy to receive some greetings over the past few weeks... heehee... and our plan of holding off the announcement of our relationship openly really gives us a thrill of hiding whenever we go for dates... lolx... it's so damn funny.....

Study: School work has been manageable... with project and assignment deadlines approaching.... there's nothing beats having all the time to finish up all these shit and doing it well... so as not to let down my team members.. who have been wonderful in the project work.... providing utmost support and also giving out wonderful ideas.... (*ps: they're all merit holders in their diploma) so it kinda startled me at first.... but i wasn't that bad either... just missed the merit by a few margins i guess... one of the regret in my life i suppose... well... life goes on... i just have to learn how to be more efficient.... take more responsibilities instead of staying backend all the time (*which i always does.... because my team mates are all very gung-ho) lolx.... they're super efficient and resourceful de.... just super fortunate to do projects with them.... for the past 3 yrs i guess.... u guys are wonderful!!! let's graduate together this coming 2010 dec!!! Wheeee~~~

Career: i'm pretty sure this will shock most of the people i know.... but.... does studying in IT means i gonna work in IT??? Not really i guess.... i still haven't told my parents and family what i wanna do after uni life.... but i have more or less decided to go into Financial Advisory Industry... .as i find it firstly.... attractive.... offering lots of opportunities for growth... whether personally... or corporately.... and to justify the effort i can put into the work.... it shall be reflect in the monthly income i can fetch.... which i kinda like it... dun like to be underpaid... dun wan to either.... so it means that.... friends will stereotype me as another "Insurance Adviser" ... but i'm going into Fin-exis, an IFA company approved by MAS... .regulated by the rules and regulations over there.... some of the plans i made for myself.... hopefully i can make them come true... need more resources!!!!

Things to be done:

-> Go for Neuro-linguistics(NLP) course during my summer holiday.... as i really would like to learn how to apply them in my life... to maximize the time of my life to earn... enjoy... and eat!!!! lolx....

-> Taking up trading courses or self-learn/educate.... after meetup with Ryan.... i realized... it only takes a small amount of time everyday to start our investment journey... not saying he's investing... but education is a very important start to it...i shall follow suit.. .and model my education on investing with the best practices in the industry.... as the saying goes.... "Learn from the experts to become one..." i guess it's pretty true....

-> Go KL for Morphosis Camp... from mid may.... 3 days course... i hope i can learn something from it... about managing changes in my life... i know.... we need to embrace changes... instead of complaining... and playing the blame game.... find solutions... think it through.... there's a will... there's always a way.... which i firmly believe.... it's always about planning and taking action to achieve what you really want.....

-> Clear my M5(Cleared!),M9, Health Insurance Paper!!!! Need to book them asap... dun wanna lose out with the amount of spare time i have during may holidays....

-> Lastly... take up 2 more tuition assignment... i believe... holiday period should be good for me to increase my income sources... hopefully business will come soon!! Huat arh~~~

Busy Busy.... Google Calendar is Exploding....

Packed!!! is the only word to describe my google calendar... it's almost filled up with events or things to be done everyday.... every week in week out... project works.... gatherings.... birthday celebration dinners.... tuition.... going for interview(only 1) and also busy with online application of jobs..... Busy Busy Busy~~ but... nevertheless... i got some leisure time...to go running... drive around to eat good food with friends.... just feel that i need to mention those who celebrated my birthday with me de.... very BIG THANK YOU to you guys.... i didn't really expect alot of people to remember my birthday....as i always thinks that my birthday is difficult to remember... or it just comes at a time when everyone are busy de.... so usually no one will be free to celebrate... what a big different 2010 made.... here goes:

1. Dinner with Ei0215 representatives... others absent are blacklisted... lolx.... Dinner @ Aston Lavendar... Got a Braun Buffet Walllet(Brown) as requested.... lolx.... love it... and using it currently!! All thanks to jy, rina, ck, mike!!!

2. Hand made a cake from Icing Room @ Somerset with Jac from my NUS course.... all thanks for the effort taken to go all the way down to somerset.... greatly appreciated...

2. Actual Birthday Lunch out with a special friend.... =) after that went to ECP and mount faber for a quick ride.... had a very good and long chat there... hee.... =) Got a Addidas Tennis T Shirt as a gift.... heehee... love it!!!

3. Ruiping, Clive, Rossana, Aunt Anna & Clown for celebrating my birthday (belated) though on a sunday... with good food @ rosie house and great gifts... a Braun Buffet Wallet & Thermal Flask Water Bottle!! lolx.... Love it!!!

4. Lhub Temps Dinner gathering @ Siam Kitchen Buffet, Suntect Area.... got a iphone sports armband from them as gift and a free dinner!! lolx.... appreciated their efforts to come down to dine with me.... which includes ah joy, fangyi, jasmine, yp, shi ting & malcom~

Really felt blessed to have friends around celebrating your birthday.... what more can i ask for... lolx... looking forward to next year birthday... how will it be like??? lolx.... Let's work hard towards our life goals... and embrace any changes that comes along the way.... awaiting for the big day to arrive..... hahaha...stay tuned~~ =)

Woo.... Another year added to my age.... well ..... could be good or bad.... but i'm thinking more towards to good parts rather than the bad.... lolx....

Birthday are the date which people are born.... and with this fact in mind... it's unique pertaining to 365 days a year.... similar birthdays are rare among my friends.... except for one of my cousin at my mum's side called "wen fang" she practically has the same date as my birthday!!! hahaha.... 9th march.... Over the years.... i seldom expects people to remember my birthday as it's quite out of the blue kinda dates... and it doesn't falls near any special dates.... (*except woman's day i guess... 8th of march)

Nevertheless.... i still do have friends and family members remembering my birthday... which i will thank them for that.... haha... gifts are complimentary really.... but the cost of the gift is not what determines the importance of the gift... it's the fit between the wishlist and the present itself.... that matters the most.... lolx.... cos sometimes... u do have gifts which u think u dun like/ or wouldn't use de... that's a waste of money and resource looking for the gift lor.... i prefer people to ask and i say a few... let them book... think i learnt it from others de....a sure way to get what u want on yr birthday... lolx.... more direct and straightforward ba.... lolx....

On this day... i just wanna stay happy, healthy, and hopes that everyone can pass the smile along to everyone they see on this day.... =)

Haha.... well... not a blog post serving as a reminder... i really appreciate people who remembers my birthday as i always thought that my birthday is not any special date... and it's not significant enough to be remember... ( holiday, special occasion etc... ) ... but i just love my birthday... .out of 365 days... u were chosen... or rather i chosen to be born on this day.... amazing isn't it... hehe....

Definition of Birthday: an anniversary of the day on which a person was born (or the celebration of it)

Wow~ since young... i dun have much birthday celebration... those big event kinds u know... chalet... BBQ... or a party or anything.... haha.... it's good to see everyone around but i know... parties are hard to maintain...so i prefer mini gathering among different groups of friends ba.... it's better and allows me to have more time to focus on particular group of friends...so that i can truly enjoy.... not expecting everyone to treat me dinner.... but rather a gathering to catch-up.... talk about gossips.... latest news... updates... etc.... haha.... but recent years have been quieter than ever le... lolx... with most of our friends studying, working or even in NS...(@@ fangyi..) lolx.... but nevertheless.... just wanna say thanks to those who remember my birthday after all these years.... especially my biu meis.... hahaha.... poly friends not forgetting yan, rina and co(if any) .... Lhubber friends like those perm staffs(*although i purposely scribble big enough on their calendars..... *evil grin....) last but not the least... my family members.... still remember they even took the effort to buy a watch for me few years back.... sad to say i didn't wear it often.... maybe becos of the design... lolx.... opps.... but i still appreciate it lar... haha....

Ok....now for some recent updates:

Have been preparing for CNY visits during the CNY period... playing poker, mahjong and few house visits this year.... maybe most of our friends attached, employed or studying.... hanging out with different groups of friends... just need a organizer to do up things and gather people together.... haha.... and i dun wan to be that person... lolx.... super mafan de.. lolx... experience it and been there done there... lolx.... *shoutout: who wants to be organizer and organize events huh.... lolx....

Study wise have been flooded with project tasks, meetings, brainstorming sessions.... C++ mid term exam(*it's over!!!) , C++ tuition assignments(*for tutee de.... ;x)....doing catch-up revision and tutorials for statistics.... and science of music.... haha... particularly love science of music... can learn different musical notations and learn how to read those "tau gay" and interpret the meanings of those notes.... cool.... can even compose with free software...called Anvil Studio.... heehee....those interested can go try ba....

Not fogetting the busy schedule coming right up... meetups from friday all the way till my birthday... cool lor... think this is the first time so many people celebrating my brithday ba... (*not counting those like 1st month or 1 year old.... cant even remember a bit lor....) ... kinda honoured.... to those people out there.... thanks!! haha... time for me to koon liaoz.... shagzzzzz..... night!

Woohoo.... Mid week of CNY le... hope everyone has been winning in terms of monetary terms and also relationship with yr family wise... lolx.... luck has been super duper GOOD and WANG... that's why i think i can be called wang zai~ lolx... Has been winning since chu yi i guess...except for that day when i was attacked both ways in Mahjong by Aunt and Uncle @ Joanne's House.... lolx... Poker... Mahjong... just can't stop winning... lolx.... gotta carry on this good luck to my studies as well... i need more successes and just completed one of my programming assignments.... *cheers... Next will be revision on statistics mid term test on 1st march.... heehee.... Has been procrastinating too much during last week's festive season mood.... now is the time to take actions.... that's when all the planning and goal setting comes into real ACTION.... putting them into manageable steps and small milestones in order to realize them one by one....

Movie Review: Percy Jackson & The Lighting Thief~

Watched it on Sunday 21 Feb 2010 @ The Cathay.... well initial thoughts was it's somehow similar to Harry Potter series of movies.... but after watching... i think it's kinda cool to mix modern technology into magical or fantasy storyline... like what's being portrayed in the movie itself.... lots of funny scenes and conversations.... especially the goatee bodyguard beside percy the main character... lolx.... through their journey to save percy's mum, bonds are built and experience are gained.... just looks like those traditional Final Fantasy Game RPG Style progression... kinda love it... hahaha.... me and my friend had a good laugh during the show itself... really tickles my funny bone whenever i think of the movie... lolx... Highly recommended for those who love fantasy and magical movies... this should be one of those to keep and collect to re-watch during free time!!! ... =)

3 days before eve of CNY(Thurs 11 Feb): Went to criss-cross salon @ yishun central to trim and dye my hair....dyed brown and greenish colour.... haha... dunno how to explain it... most imptly... i love it... heehee.... length is not short or long.... for a cost of $70 i guess... but bee says next time can engage her service to help me dye since my hair so short only...go salon waste of money.. hahaha.... thanks bee... lolx.... After that was dinner gathering @ Ngee Ann City with joni and her friends... clown also there as well... but the dishes... ok... are not bad.... just that it literally burned a hole in my pocket....$70!!! Argh.... super expensive lar.... but also lao yu sheng.... hopefully it brought me good luck ba... haha.... den went to watch movie with another friend @ Woodlands Cathay Movie .... sent her home after the movie and chatted along the way... haha... =)

Valentine Movie Review: The show was about several characters... making some decisions of their life on valentine's day... and the initial part shows why people celebrate valentine's day.. .what should we do.... all that happening in US kinda environment... but the show is funny and somehow touching in a sense where it makes u really thinks... the one that u love... are they your true lover or actually yr real one lies lurking around yr best friend??? so makes me thinks eventually... lolx... sometimes fate plays a big part in getting to find true love.... wait lor... lolx...

2 days before CNY(Fri 12 Feb): Went to sch in my newly dyed hair.... feels differently though.... then some of my friends though the color was quite obvious... wahaha... happy lar.. lolx... true success is when people sees it~~ literally for my hair colour...wahaha.... den after school went to queensway buy kappa canvas shoe... love the color and the design.... never really saw any shirts that i liked...so go back northpoint and bought polo tees from NET and t shirt from Levis Signature.... after which went home to rest... super duper tired.... ahaha.... too long nv shop liaoz... after that was dinner 8pm at yishun industrial park.... @ tai guo xiao chi.... plus lao yu sheng... haha.... my 4th yu sheng already i think... haha.... huat ah.... after that walk home from there... haha....

Eve of CNY(Sat 13 Feb): Practically was at home the whole day.... then surfing net... sorting out the room to keep all the untidy stuffs and doing spring cleaning... which makes my nose super terrible....just can't tahan too must dust.... lol... but kept the room neat and tidy at least for the CNY... after that will go back to normal i think... ahhaha.... cars started gathering in the car park as alot of family members for other neighbours gather back for reunion dinner.... but i didn't have mine today...as i had it yesterday.... @ yishun industrial tai guo xiao chi... so kinda empty...feeling no steamboat this year..... sianz.... EMPTY.... and CNY i haven't touched steamboat yet.... anyone wanna ask me go their house for steamboat ah???? haha...

Stayed online to countdown for the arrival for the year of Tiger.... with some friends like wendy, woof, and some others.... woof even shown me via skype the fireworks in m'sia.... thanks to her lor.... heehee....even bring her laptop outside and video it... lolx... she must have felt super weird doing that... hahahah.... appreciated it.... had a long chat online before slping to custom to the tradition of "shou sui" for parents longetivity... heehee....

CNY Chu Yi(14 Feb): Chu yi woke up around 10 plus.... wash up.... had some rice cooked by mum... got my first ang bao from mum and sis as well.... first day of new year always goes to bukit panjang fat uncle house for visit.... and it's always very hot de... haha.... but it's ok lar.... this year we're the first to reach.... had some very good stuffs like shark fins.... curry plus rice.... custom made abalone-prawn-ball and also my "jiu mu" specialities... haha... also went out with my siblings to nearby sg pools to buy TOTO.... but nv even tio a number....sux.... haha... after that went back more people came... and ang bao collection...before play poker cards with uncle...den the room have a weird aircon controller which will increase the temperature when u press decrease button...super duper funny la.... the room super hot and the aircon capped at 25 degree celsius... haha... overall lost a bit.... after jio wendy to joanne house play mahjong.... haha... kitty play halfway disappear...kena flank by their parents...total damage $25 i guess.... sianz.... drove wendy home using bro's car.... holland a bit eventually reached her house... so near to call centre location.... haha... though....

CNY Chu Er(15 Feb): woke up around 11 plus.... ah yan aunt already reached with her hubby and two kids chuan geng/wei.... so big already....joanne and his family also reached...came in and disturb me somemore... luckily i already half awake... haha.... then buffet came to house as this year mum nv cook.... ordered catering.... haha... though food was so-so... saved her all the troubles lar... hee.... expensive... $500++ bill.... den starts the most exciting event of the year.... gambling "ban luck" 21 points... haha... i started being the banker... which turns out to be the best option i made this year... haha... luck slowly built up as more people played.... den i got even luckier... ban luck and super nice cards.... haha.... won over $150 i guess... haha...den half time break to lao yu sheng while i made my getaway.... hahaha.... song ah... lolx.... super fun lao yu sheng... haha.... "da gu"(great aunt) lao yu sheng dunno fly where... den i think kena xiao mei aunt... haha...super funny lor... we also took photos for cousins and also for all my "gu gu"(aunt from dad's side...).... overall had a great time at home.... after that drove dad's pickup with dorothy, joyce, bee and joanne to NP party world.... sing KTV.... till 7+ i guess... in between we dance... sang... laughed... play games... massage legs... haha.... fun fun fun~

After that is mahjong time again... joanne jio her fren angelia while i jio wendy again... haahah.... mahjong-lovers all of us.... played till 1 plus as wendy have to work the next day....but she couldn't slp.... so drove her back home to change before going for supper a while.... super tired that day.... had a chat before i went back home to slp....

CNY Chu San(16 Feb): Suppose to go joni house for cny visit but haven't fixed time... in the meantime i slept like a few hrs only.... haha...super tired la... loan car from bro success!! haha... so drove rossana, aunt anna and clown to rp's house.... before heading to woodlands for secret house visit... haha.... rp house got buffet... met some people i know... den exchange some greetings... stayed a while only as well... haha.... den drove back to yishun... driving PIE is really busy as alot of cars and the traffic is quite heavy...so have to be real careful....so got another place that i can go next time...haha... after dropping rosie and clown back to yishun... went to woodlands... had steamboat for the first time.... but v full so ate something only... before playing Rock Band... haha...super fun.... feels like buying the drum set as well...wahhaa... or the Dance-Dance-Revolution floor mat to play.... lolx... dunno where the hell is my Wii now la... shitzzzz......

After leaving woodlands... went to peixuan's house for house visit.... haha....asked by lawrence...weird right.... peixuan hse visit lawrence asked... lolx... go there...surely is poker session one lar... haha... den played some ban luck and merge some games with lawrence and his fren (shaolin soccer spanner guy look alike...) lolx... always can't remember his name lar... shitxxx.... after gambling's over went to yishun central eat dim sum and some other food before heading home... another shag day...argh.... after parking car....sat in car blast music awhile... listening to "dui de ren" .... nice song... haha.... before walking back home to bath, slp...

CNY Chu Shi(17 Feb): Woke up @ 1pm... haha... lagi best.... i think i had the longest slp during the CNY today.... so woke up... check some mails den received rina's call for KTV + movie.... so on her at 3pm northpoint.... dress up and helped mr pig to return some library books before meeting yan for lunch at the new jap restuarant... prev @ located delifrance... well food was so-so... but service wise... i would say still can improve la.... cos a bit slow...den the drinks not prompt enough... .service staffs not well-versed in language.... when we ask her something... she needs to "huh huh huh" a while...before getting it.... edwin also met me rina and yan @ the jap restaurant for lunch before steven arrived at northpoint... so we went up party world but was told the rooms only ready after 5pm...so instead we went to reserve a 7pm room and went to watch "14 Blades" first.... After that was KTV time....7 to 11pm.... sang around 15 songs only....since we got five of us.... rotate around... throat still not feeling good... but got some cough sweets to remedy it a bit.... haha... today alot of off-key lar...sianz.... disappointed but i will do better next time... haha... also practiced chao jian zhi and yi yan shun jian... still can't get the tone right.... haha... need to observe and listen more.... heehee.... after KTV was dinner @ 925.... had pontian wanton noodle... taste better than last time.... haha.... also shared BBQ sting ray and veggie with rina and yan... wow... spendthrift day.... but still can cover using winnings... lolx....

14 Blades Review: I would say it's a very good martial arts and historical movie about the secret forces of Ming Dynasty.... Jin Yi Wei.... i love the name and the character acted by Donnie Yen... .as Green Dragon.... damn cool and the gadgets and story behind the 14 blades is also interesting.... some interesting actors are wu zun(The desert Judge...).... zhao wei(love the big eyes... wahhh.... @@)... Hong Jin Bao(The Rebel)..... Qi Yu Wu(The rebel from jinyiwei).... love the scenary and the fightings scenes....although sad ending... life as a jinyiwei is short but glorious.... love the storyline.... a worth-to-buy-and-keep de potential DVD.... hahaha..... and some corrections to make... the exotic city is fake.... lolx... not real as i thought i heard on tv... lolx... used by CGI.... computer graphics... paiseh ah....

Dinner @ Ricetable with Lhub Counter staffs.... well i guess it's a early chinese "lou hei" session plus rice table indonesian food cuisine somewhere near orchard plaza i think.... somewhere opp the zara outlet along wheelock place.... meeting time was 7pm.... i think i reached not long after karen and zura was there.... then did some arrangement to the seating so that call centre personnel and big boss of ning cna sit on one side with the temps.... on the other side of the table seating.... think not long before everyone reach and that day was also the day of fangyi and joyce CSP course last day.... lol.... congrats to them.... even though have weird people in the class... most impt is the people whom they met.... it's unique in the class which csp course offers.... unique learning experience pertaining to every class i guess as i went through mine in 2008 dec.... haha...

Food wise for ricetable.... made me eat a bit n LS... lolx.... guess it's too spicy or what.... my stomach just cant seems to take v spicy or hot stuffs.... what's happening to me..... i used to take tonnes of spices or chilli and nothing happened.... shit~ hopefully there's nothing serious ba.... since the cny is coming soon.l.. dun wanna fall sick or what... haha.... After we have finished eating the food.... we starts the lou hei activity.... as there wasn't enough chopsticks... we took turns to "LAO" it.... lol.... just love "lao yu sheng" as it brings laughter and happiness to everyone whom does it..... already had two "lou hei" session..... guess there will be more coming...wahahaha....

5th week into the study semester.... projects coming up.... festive seasons also nearing...everyone is busy doing their own things... be it work... study.... family...friends... events... plans.... goals.... problems.... and also etc.... Life has been busy lately.... due to increased session for C++ tuition assignment...practically sunday noon is reserved.... now even tues and thurs are also gonna used for intensive tuition for my student.... really wish i can find a method to make him code it all out and understand the subject.... think he needs more time to adapt to the concepts and know how to apply them.... hopefully i'm the correct catalyst to spur him into the "Eureka" situation when he realizes all of the C++ methodology....

Had some mini outings with friends lately:

Firstly was a old neighbour's soccer session @ Jalan Bahar Futsal court.... time is 11pm to 1am.... though shag.... but it was fun... i even told myself to build up my stamina for the next session on 26th feb.... need more swimming and running to get my health and stamina back to track....meaning to NS standards....or somewhere around there.... need discipline and persistence ba.... and some sort of planning to get things going.... ultimately it boils down to taking ACTION!!!

Next was the catch-toy machine outing @ Marina Square after going to Chinatown to check travel agency stuffs.... haha... followed by k-box session for 2 hrs at marina square.... lolx.... sang for 2 hrs though... .it was fun... haha... learnt abit about singing techniques and also managed to caught a doraemon!!! wahaha..... ran out of voice for the next day though...ZzZZzzZzzZz

Decided to dye and trim my hair @ yishun central salon as one thing cny coming.... another thing is my hair is real long....dun wanna keep it that long....poke into my eyes.... lolx.... hated it.... so there i was.... think got a new guy to do my hair....quite meticulous.... but a bit inexperience.... but overall he's caring enough to educate me on the colours to select and how to style my hair.... waiting time overall 0.5 hrs.... but the dye hair part was the worse.... cos dye already need to wait damn long.... like 35mins.... cui~.... finally got my DYED~ HAIR~~ Wahahaha.... *Rina u shall see it... if not.... u must be colour blind~~ wahaha.... whoopiiii

After which was gathering with rp's friends and clown, clive, rp's sis belinda and her cousin(stella, sophia) and ps....Dinner was at Fei Cui Restaurant.... Ngee Ann City 7pm....but i was late due to the long waiting time of the buses..... when reach there....found out it's a dishes style restaurant....can order anything u want BUT.... the food are expensive.... haha.... particularly liked the peking duck, mayonise prawn and also the lou hei session.... even got the lady server help us take photo.... lolx... .overall was a good dinner ba....

Also went to watch "Valentine's Day" after the dinner.... went somewhere near to watch so that it's easier to go home from there.... anyway... overall the story is good.. i like the various characters and how the story goes....from valentine's day....all events happening within one day itself..... lolx.... the famous quotes and the song track... (*Wink.... who have must send me... wahahha ^_^) i would give it 8/10 for the overall movie rating.... maybe as a movie it has time limits and some parts are skipped.... haha... overall it's still v good la... i supposed....

Lost of Focus....

I hate it.... when i had my share of lost focus.... ever since i was sicked for a few days.... my mind was like wandering about..... just floating around.... without any real thoughts and work being done....just loitering around like a balloon.... need to get back to business...still got tutorials and lectures to catch up due to the days i missed those lectures.... what's over needs to be settled and squared off NOW!! Need to take more action to finish all the tasks.... and complete reading all the books i borrowed from the library.... before the assignments gets piled up.... need to clear them first... need ultimate FOCUS and discipline!!!

Chinese new year is coming real soon....around 3 weeks time.... same as the previous few years.... it doesn't feels very festive.... maybe it's becoming like any other holidays.... too take a break off from hectic work/study life to enjoy the special moments with family and friends.... dunno about whether there will be any overseas trip this CNY as last year i went batam for massage before the CNY itself.... Still need to buy a new pair of shoes as my present pair (Everlast) is a bit worn out....

Last saturday was elder bro wedding.... seen alot of relatives and had some very closed moments with family... including taking family photo itself.... which we don't take every now and then.....waiting for the photos to be out so that can upload.... Dinner was at OCC restaurant and the food wise was not bad.... just that i find their video and projector system a bit off.... and the HI-FI system wasn't that fantastic also....nevertheless.... i think the video is already uploaded to FB by hazel.... hence should be able to catch it Online....

This coming week activities includes : Dinner on thursday at Ricetable with Lhubber.... ECP Cycling trip on saturday.... + BBQ Steamboat dinner..... Tuition @ Mr Siva house next weekday.... *hope to visit chinatown one of these days.... heard the CNY decorations all up already.... lolx..... JIAYOU Everyone.... Stay hungry for knowledge and work hard..... the long awaited break will be here real soon..... !!! =)

Haven't been feeling very good recently.... dunno why came down with illness suddenly on monday night and had to seek medication on tuesday morning.... had a terrible monday and tuesday night as the fever didn't went away until tuesday midnight.... just felt like in sauna.... so hot.... took the cough and flu medicine which causes drowsiness.... which i'm having as i'm typing this blog post.... argh.... backache from slping too long at my bed.... dunno whether it's a good or bad thing....nevertheless... i have a great rest..... had porridge for the past two days.... medicine + consultation costs me alone $32.... sianzz..... going broke soon.... just praying for next few days to pass and payday will soon arrives....hopefully.....

Still got clothes and shoes haven't bought for chinese new year.... new school term which turns out to be quite slack this semester.... nevertheless.... will be able to graduate next sem for sure.... just realized i did something stupid which makes me go one big round before i get my bachelor.... SUX~ anyway... lesson learnt from it as it's always a learning experience from mistakes made in life i guess.... need to take good care from now on.... hate being ill.... deprived me from eating good food and going out~~ Argh.....

I even slipped and fell down yesterday after seeing the doctor....it's like kinda funny though.... haha.... now i have to suffer thr bruise from the fall on my ass and my leg.... i'm sure things will be better from now on ba.... =)

2 Jan :

Zhuzhu's birthday celebration @ BBQ Pit near my house....

i think early in the morning sis and bro-in-law went to buy the ingredients and make preparation for the BBQ.... and then was busy the whole day....marinating the chicken

wings..... crossing out the list of stuffs to do etc.... it's was a busy day for her and the family.... and i also helped to bring the stuffs from house to the pit itself.... alot of great food like satay, chicken wings, plain rice, bee hoon, seafood and other BBQ stuffs.... so bro-in-law went to setup the bbq pit fire first while i fetch the stuff over.....

Was mainly busy cooking the food during the BBQ itself while the kids ran around, playing and having fun.....i felt as though the hairs on my arms just burned off... haha.... but anyway...i love occasional BBQ from time to time and this time it further enhance my knowledge on how to treat BBQ fire and food when it comes to BBQ events le... haha.... Patience is of essence....and to observe is another.... as the fire mustn't be too big nor the fire be too small to cook the food...perharps the most impt part is the setting up of fire... must be sufficient to spread all the charcoal around the pit so that food gets cooked evenly....

Alot of people came but mainly those whom zhuzhu knew...like my family members.... joyce, joanne, debbie, isabelle, elder bro & Hazel, Hui Ping & some of zhuzhu's side relative.... me and yan bought a Scrabble Board game but have yet to teach him how to play....i'm sure it will improve his command of english greatly once he knows some english vocabulary and can build on his current brain of english words ba.... Happy Birthday Kenneth~~ Enjoy Your Primary School Life~~ Be Hungry for knowledge and study hard..... dun everyday PSP/DS Lite or I-Phone.... hahaha....

*PS: I think this is the only birthday celebration whereby i'm too busy to take photos... haha... even cut cake i also not around to sing the song... lolx.... =)

3 Jan - 8 Jan: Bascially it's working at LHUB as SOA Kia (*Mailing Certificates to trainess who have completed their courses with LHUB)

and slacking at home.... slp till i woke up naturally.... (*on days whereby i'm not woke up brute force by my naughty nephew Javier) and also busy playing Cafe World.... guess i'm addicted to it already la.... not need to make more food... and earn more money to decorate the Cafe...... I'm targeting to design a theme cafe..... but haven't really thought of any to design.... maybe need to do more visits and learn from other players...

Sch's starting soon.... modules more or less fixed and left one more slot....guess will be most probably taking Unrestricted Elective to fulfil the Module Credits needed for graduation.... next sem(*in june) will be left 4 modules for me to take... before i file for grduation.... HURRAY!!!!

The sweet smell of graduation is in the air already...with some of my friends graduating already... when is my turn leh--> This Coming DECEMBER 2010!!! Yay~~~

Today had a filing working day as there's training for internal staff over @ Level 6.... some problems cropped up but was solving eventually... aha.....eventful working day with Buffet~~ Though not catered for us but yengpeng and me went to eat anyway... haha.... since there's always be leftover... might as well save it for us.... lol.... love the fried you tiao~~ Makes me think of Yong He @ Geylang... lol.... when having supper again....

Been having kinda mahjong sessions around my week in and out with my friends, cousins and sis..... which brings me to blog about mahjong knowledge that i have accumulated over the years(*Wah....sounds PRO.... hahaha...)

Firstly, went to joanne's house with wendy and her bf to play mahjong....that was like two sundays ago.....which was an impromptu arrangement starting from my msn nick which goes "any1 wants ti play mahjong now...."... and wendy msg me within 5 mins itself....i called joanne if she's free for mahjong session at her house before we proceed over to play....everything happens in a flash....den after tat....the night before xmas had another session over at ah hua's house in sembawang..... i dunno why but the room feels like chalet to me.... haha..... play for almost two rounds at the rate of 20 cents, 40 cents for 1 "tai".... so max will be $3.20,$6.40 for 5 "tais"..... final verdict: Won around $11.....and we continued without rina in the morning which my sis played in it....asked joanne over again to my sis house before we played till it's night time....haha....this time round won around $10.......

Next was mahjong session yesterday after my C++ programming tuition at bishan.....went back home first to bath before i proceed over to joanne's house....didn't know that joanne is not playing...hence i played with her friends...quite a talkative and funny batch of friends she had..haha... but sad to say we only managed to play one round only....maybe due to the fact that most of her friends have to think alot before discarding the tiles....haha...nevertheless....it's still fun..... maybe can try to play higher stakes next time ba....ahaha.... but mahjong is still a game for leisure... so always remember that to take it as a form of entertainment instead of a tool to make money becos i dun think anyone can use mahjong to make a living.... =)

Saturday 19th Dec 09 was the date that Wendy Tan @@ booked me and joyce for her birthday celebration which her bf planned long time ago....so she purposely chopped us for this date so that we can attend her birthday celebration...wahahhaa.... So the scheduled birthday venue -- One Degree 15 Marina Club and we're going on a yachting trip during 6 to 10pm.... excited that we got into....but initially joyce couldnt go..den end up she wants to go....damn it....hai wo ask jasmine if she wants...and dashed her hopes...haha... (*Jasmine next time joyce buy yacht den everytime can go liao....or best still....she gets ang moh husband~~ Wahahah )

So i went to Vivocity after work to meetup with joyce as we need to buy the birthday gifts....joyce even told me about the incident of the cab driver slping while driving....really damn those cab drivers....if you're slpy...dun drive~~~ Please.... spare a thought for others even if you wanna work hard and earn money.... No Rest = Early DEATH~~~ Please~~ Rest while you need it...!!! (*What's wrong with all these cab drivers really...and the BKK "Spicy Bossy Cab Driver.... haha.... f them....)

And den after we meet up... we went Secret Recipe to have some chocolate banana cakes before shopping for wendy's bday gift...who was supposingly to meet us 5pm @ harbourfront mrt....but soon changed to 530pm we need to take shuttle bus in from Seah Im Food Centre Bus Interchange.... But we still managed to bought two small little present for wendy....hopefully she liked it~~ lol....
When we reached One Degree 15, saw some people carrying gifts...so we thought they might be wendy/her bf frenz....turns out to be true.... haha... we waited for her bf to arrive and bring us into the club before he settles some stuffs and bring us over to the yacht~~~ it's quite a big yacht and ard 20+ people can be on the yacht itself... lol.... after all the preps work have been done.... we set off to the sea~~~ So the journey goes from One Degree 15 Harbour -> St John Island + Kusu Island -> Sentosa for Musical Fountion Show -> Back to St John Island -> One Degree 15 Harbour.... Had some pizzas and bee hoon cooked by wendy's ah ma....also some honey roasted wings by her frenz....Upzzzz It's Nice and Tasty~~ Watched the musical fountain before we left sentosa to nearby island.... stayed on the 2nd storey of the yacht for a short card game -> Heart Attack~~~ haha.... with some small grasshopper hopping here and there.... lolx.... had a great and relaxing time over there....out in the sea....too bad they dun have v good sound system / stereo system....or else it will be perfect.... and we managed to cut the cake before the yacht reaches back the marina again.... haha....
Thanks to wendy for the invitation and wish that you can have a blissful and wealthy life ahead~~~ haha.... Work hard and happiness will soon be within yr reach~~~ (*or it already has been in your hand all along la... lolx....) Or... becoming rich will become "present tense" lolx.... =)

LHub Counter Xmas Dinner @ Merchant Court~

Yeah... Finally the spirit of xmas is coming real soon...and it starts with the xmas dinner from LHub Customer Service Dept Dinner @ Merchant Court... haha... was also due to collect my ordered books online at paya lebar titled "Secrets of Dominating Your Niche" & "Niche Dominator - Success Secrets Exposed: Stories of Top Entreprenuers"

So was quite excited to collect my books from paya lebar A-Z Building.... haha... luckily there is GoThere.sg Service....else i will be combing the area for the building...lol... left house around 430pm and took the Circle Line from Bishan Mrt... alighted at Bartley Mrt changed bus 168 i think to somewhere near the building... when i went into the office, i was well received by one of the ladies over there.... and i wondered if she's the author's wife....dunno why i have that thought....anyway.... after that... i had to go to vivocity to buy presents for the xmas gift exchange...luckily i managed to buy a Towel over there....soft and smooth one.. lol... while keeping to the timing to meet jasmine and yp @ Central @ Clark Quay MRT.... i went there in advance hoping to find Mini Toons to wrapped the gift for me.... and it's a costly decision to do so...i was charged $3!!! damn.... but it's ok la....for xmas only.... hmmm... yp arrived shortly before jasmine called to inform us that her dad drove her to swissotel merchant court directly....so me and yp went there by ourselves....when we reached there....quite a number of people are already there... except for fy, hq and michelle.... as they were still at NTUH counter itself... working their ass off...lolx....

We started with the food first....damn hungry...lol... but i think that merchant court food is always limited and not v tasty....as in it's not the best yet it charges one of the more expensive kinda cuisine....so i dun understand why we chosen that place as the xmas dinner....nevertheless.... i enjoyed the dinner with the CS temps and perm staffs....not forgetting the occasional jokes and "wu liao" questions from ning and co... lol... we also had some funny and good photo taking session la (*though the photographer no skills one.... lol.... took the photo with my face so big...DAMN~ )

Wish that everyone will have a good break during the Xmas and New Year Period before we start the new year with new resolutions and goals... JIAYOU Everyone~~~ Merry Xmas & Happy New 2010~~~ Woohoo.....

Yp Birthday Celebration~~ 17 Dec 09

ahsun: =) Quite a few things to update....but first thing first..... Yp's Birthday....

Yeng Peng's one of the temps working at Lhub counter and all the temps met up to celebrate his birthday @ Orchard Heeren's Waraku Restaurant... Birthday gift was bought by fangyi and he was tempt into buying a pair of converse shoes for himself as it's on offer and he wanted to buy one pair as well... lolx....funny thing is....they bought same size and color....kinda gay la...lolx....but funny la...wahaha.... all of us supposely was to meet up at somerset mrt but end up only me, fy and joy....so the rest all met up at waraku.....those who came includes malcom, jasmine and shi ting.... we some of the japanese food from the menu and the bowls used were HUGE....but the food is kinda pathetic la... quite small portion and i dun quite like it... haha... not enough to fill the stomach....but we shared some side orders as well...like those teriyaki chicken sticks kinda 5-in-1 set to share.... So kinda filled up after the meal....me and joy even attempt to buy a small cake from Jack's Place nearby .... haha.... and we order some short cakes as well from Waraku... NICE~ We also had some photo taking session before proceeding to watch the movie -- AVATAR~~~

Personally i feel that the movie plot is engaging and colourful like what they say....full of new things and makes the movie watcher interested in the story line as well as the environment that the movie plot creates.....i do have some moments which i feel is quite touching and funny de lar.... but of course.... the spirit of working together at times of adversity.... also.... shows how human have always done in the past till now : Forever living in their own world and doing anything to get what they want.... hence i believe that this show will be quite popular with most of the crowd going to watch this show.... really don't mind watching it again but this time round...i might try the 3D version one to see whether there's any major effect that i missed out from the normal movie itself... Highly Recommend to watch it!!!

Bangkok Trip Story~

Day 1:

Arrive @ changi airport terminal 1 with debbie and joyce.... joanne also went to send us off to the "Land of Smiles" -- Bangkok!!! Our flight was 1130am....but we're reach bkk like 1230pm due to the time difference.... had MacDonald Breakfast and BK Breakfast set before i board the plane (*ate the macDonald Big Breakfast myself becos i know the two gals will be late for meeting in yishun....) haha....den we took bus 858 to airport and there was some random security check ba....would say it's kinda sloppy checking....anyway....boarded the plane on Jetstar 3k311 and reached the "Land Of Smiles".... after learning previous experience in bangkok....we decided to fetch a "metered cab" to save on the cost.... haha.... there we go.... "Samran Place" again!!!.... located along ratchaburi road....around 5 mins ride to big shopping malls like MBK, Platinum Shopping Mall and so on.... Had a short rest at the hotel before moving off to our first stop.... MBK~~~ Saw alot of stuffs there....mostly electronics as didn't get to go there on my first trip to bangkok.... quite a huge shopping mall....i would describe it as a mixture of sim lim square and vivocity.... haha....also went around Siam Square area and had our first meal -- Swensen Ice Cream There~~ Same place same spot somemore... lolx.... funny man.....how time flies.... Lots of events going around there as well....saw the famous beer brands there - Chang Beer, Heineken, Vodka etc.... Maybe it's King's Birthday on Saturday~~~ Woohoo....so lucky....and the king loves to wear "Light Pink".... went around in taxi mainly for first day.....haha....

Spent quite alot on food and transport....luckily we planned to put aside some money as pooled amount so that transport and food can be settled first.... first step towards financial planning during overseas trip.... set aside essential money for food and travelling around is impt!

Day 2:

Woohoo..... Woke up and ate the great Samran Breakfast.... collected our breakfast voucher @ the counter and ordered Set 1 - American Breakfast~ Woohoo.... Since it's a saturday.....our first stop will be --- ChatuChak Weekend Market.... went there in cab.... and it's fast... lol.... we reached there pretty early....who is bad....as joyce's fren told her bkk shops will start to reduce prices by as much as 50% after 12pm/1pm....so bad choice for us...nevertheless....we went to the area whereby there're more fashionable clothes for us to browse around....haha....since we're more or less familar with the area.... saw some really nice clothes....jeans....and also caught debbie on camera trying on the skirts or something... lol....also had some food by the roadside.... kinda like those whereby thai people will cook and den deep fried into a cup for you to choose....haha...NICE!~ weather was pretty bad over there....hot hot and HOT!!!.... dying of thrist while the two gals are busy shopping for hoots....Day 1 shopping winner goes to -- DEBBIE~

Also side tracked to platinum shopping mall but mostly gals stuff...nothing for me.... bought a jean and some t shirts from JJ Market - also termed as chatuchak weekend market.... heehee.... went over to the mall opp platinum to walk around....i guess there's when db and joy bought some bags and mini shorts ba....haha.... dinner near hotel as db requested for authentic thai food....hahah.... ordered a few dishes and the one with the steamboat....NICE~~ Saw some fireworks near MBK previously and while eating.... fireworks was going on somewhere else with live telecast....FireWorks was like FREE..... i dunno how long it went.....i estimated it to be around 20 to 30 mins of fireworks....haha....Thailand King's Birthday leh..... show all the face to him~~~ =) Tried Tuktuk and taxi around bangkok today....

Day 3:

Had a hearty breakfast....set 1 for me again!!! ahahaha.... today we planned to go JJ market and shop till we drop....brought my backpack along as well to stock up all the hoots we got.... but didn't really enjoy it enough....maybe because of the hot weather....another thing is that too many people there le ba....the stuffs over there are ok as well....so after walking for a while.....went back to hotel first....had A&W for lunch before heading to platinum area to walk....got some clothes and bought my shoes over there as well... Happy... and debbie was like striking off alot of stuffs from her list of "TO-BUY" for her friends.... lol.... decided to go MBK watch Ninja Assasin and the show was bloody~~~~ superbly Bloodly~~~ hahaha... and the advertisement were interesting and sometimes....no idea about at all... quite special bah....somemore we have to give respect to the king....while in the theatre.....dunno whether becos it's his bday or everytime???? hmmm.... anyway....after the movie....we decided to take TukTuk back to hotel....

We also went to Suan Lum Night Market as we felt must make full use of the time @ Bkk to walk around ma.... so there we're at the suan lum market.... things were expensive.... but stuffs were somehow different from JJ market and other shopping malls..... did a mini notebook over there....haha... .can personalize the notebook with my own name.... like it alot.... haha....all thks to Joyce for spotting it..... after that....we decided to take cab back to hotel....that's when the drama starts....

We got into this cab (*yellow top) and the driver was quite talkative....trying to introduce some club to us..... kept saying "Spicy Bossy".... Irritating..... then we just played along with him....ask him whether the gals over there are hot or not.... he replied "OK... Gals no Spicy..." we're like laughing our asses off already....who knows that he kept using the corner of his eyes to stare at us as all of us are sitting @ the back seat... haha.... this irritating cab driver....kept on pestering us with his "SPICY..... BOSSY~~~ V GOOD" ... .and the "Irregular Rhytem beats " that he tries to emulate....haha....damn @#$@#$#@ .... at one point even drove us to the club when none of us wanna entertain him already....... Reach outside the clubbing area....he told us to get off and go explore the area....someone from outside open the cab door for us.....damn it!!! but debbie was quick enough.....to reply...."No thanks" to the person outside and quickly close the door....ask the bloody cab driver to go SAMRAN right away.....damn it....it's quite scary and dangerous though.... if u experience it yrself....u will know that kinda feeling when they drove u past small alleys whereby you dunno where are they bringing you to.... but that also became the laughing topic of the trip.... "Spicy~~ Bossy~~ Gals..... OK~~~ hahhaa..." ... not forgetting the spicy and delicious food stall beside the roads....they're great but just need to becareful as there're not regulated....might get stomach ache....eat @ yr own risk.... =)

Day 4:
Last day for us to shop around.....went to MBK.... pratunam area street market and platinum market....had the MK restaurant Steamboat meal.... bought some Mr Tall's T Shirt finally.... and also bought ear phones~~~ haha.....initially wanted to dye hair but chickened out @ the last min as felt that waste of money la.... haha.... maybe will dye ard CNY ba.... as joyce was feeling kinda sick and tired....we went back hotel early and went to pharmacy near 7-11 Store(*Our fav hangout for drinks and snacks.....bought over daily necessity there as well.....) to buy panadol.... ordered food from Samran on our last night stay over there....not bad the food....price reasonable also....haha.... told the counter staff to arrange cab for us tmr morning after breakfast as our flight @ 9:15 bkk time....

Day 5:

Had the last samran breakfast in 2009.... debbie also took photo with the handsome boy working there and he even told us to come back next year asap.....den he said next month "January" ....haha.... quite a funny guy....lol....morning @ bkk was kinda early as the sunset are early as well....due to the time difference.....took our cab to Bkk airport....and check in our luggage....which the Doraemon Bag alone weighted 26 KG....all debbie's stuff....haha...overall....she's the winner from the BKK trip....with sooooooooo many stuffs.... haha....

Movie Review : Hua Mulan

Went Yishun GV to watch Hua Mulan late at night..... i will say it's a story whereby most of the people will already know the storyline but yet different casts/actors will give the movie a different feel and emotions depending on who the

actors are.... this one is starring Vicky Zhao as Hua Mulan and Baddy Hu Jun as Modu.... plus the someone claimed "handsome-when-he-was-discovered-to-be-a-prince" de Chen Kun aka Wen Tai in the movie.... i would give it 8/10 for the movie..... the stroy is good....but it lacked details and smooth transition.....i liked the scenes whereby the people died and hua mulan realized

that war actually is a very cruel thing to happen..... i guess it's normal for human to realize somethings when they truly experience it themselves ba.... the movie also taught us to be filial to our parents....some of the more traditional virtues that the chinese emphasis one.... which points us to [ ren ("humanity"), xiao ("filial piety"), and zhong ("loyalty") ] going by Confucian Moral from chinese past studies.

Actually was a very random switching of channel in the middle of the night...chance upon the MTV channel and saw this music video playing....which is Eason Chan's latest album : 上五楼的快活 Track Number 3 - 多少 ... i dunno what came over me.... but i just literally stop what i was doing and quite focused on listening to the music, rhythm and the lyrics of the song playing on TV... I just find the song to be kinda sad in judging how much time and effort we need to actually find what we want in life....regardless of what is it.... isn't it ironic but true??

New Tuition Assignment Coming Right up...

Kudos to joanne for the recommendation.... that i got the tuition assignment from campus tutors... haha...cheers.... starting in 13 Dec a Sunday 2 to 4pm.... hopefully i can reach there on time....kinda check how to go there already......

So bascially just need to enroll over at the website to be able to receive tuition assignments for various preferred location and the types of assignment u want.... for example... i put mine preference more towards to the North and Central area.... Taking up assignments from primary school maths to secondary school maths(though i need to revise to take up sec sch maths) ... and also programming assignments and IT related tuition jobs.... which i believe i shouldn't have any problem teaching..... and the assignment i'm going to teach is C++ ... which i haven't touched since Poly Days.... but nevertheless i digged out some tutorials to better prepared myself for it.... cos i really wanna help those who need tuition.... =)

Hopefully will have a good working relationship with the student ba.... start of my tuition journey.... hahaha.... hopefully can start another good income source .... $$$$$

Food Review : Eighteen Chefs

Met with rina. edwin and yan for dinner gathering.... have been thinking of giving the eatery Eighteen Chefs and visiting it since it has

been launched as i know the restaurant is a special one: the founder chef was a ex-convict and went to jail before because of drug addiction. So i believe the restaurant is under the Yellow Ribbon project which gives those who did wrong in the past a second chance to amend their life again...

In the cafe or i would call it... the overall layout is good.... spacious... ample lighting.... though it's a self service style restaurant.... the waiter who brought us to the table didn't told us the menu was under the table....unless another waiter walked past and asked whether we have ordered our food already... It's a self service style cafe....hence payment have to be made first before the food is served.... but nevertheless.... it's been a bad experience at the cafe;

Firstly, the food we ordered is kinda expensive.... ranging from $6 for western set plus additional combo sets for the soup, drink and garlic bread....it adds up to around $12 per person.... and next is the food.... yan ordered the basket of french fries and nuggets.... but they're like under cooked....seriously....u can even see the "color of the meat" inside the nugget itself....kinda disgusting..... I ordered black pepper spaghetti with hotdogs.... and the spags was super spicy....or rather...i think the chef hates me.... it's so hot....i could barely finish the food.... there's also omelette with fries which looks undercook as well....i seriously wonder is the chef qualified to cook....or they just find anyone to cook.... Vvvv terrible bad experience i would say..... i even said that i would give them 10 marks...... upon 100 marks.... because it's really that bad...... so folks....stay away from that restaurant.... i rather u go eat BK...seriously....

Finally have some time to blog about recent updates.... had some changes in life which are normal as changes are supposed to be constant in life.... Weekend jobs switching places....preparing for exams after major project and end of semester.... preparing for trip to bangkok on 4 dec.... Thinking of how to earn more money during the school holidays or whether to go back serve the army to finish the one month stint at CNB again.... hmmm.... thinking hard.....

Revision for exams have not been smooth and been stopping here and there.... need to get it going and done with.... think i need to stay overnight to finish my notes before i can read them.... although only two modules....nevertheless....still need sufficient amount of effort to get good grades for it....final exams are more often than not.... the determining factor in the final grade for that module itself....

Working for 2 years....almost every weekend i will be around Tanjong Pagar area....but all these are gonna change.... no more nasi lemak .... drive in macdonald....or even bus ride from shenton way to yishun.... but nevertheless....kinda curious on how the job will be done over @ the new place.... Bras Basah Road NUTC Union House.... hopefully no one goes there... haha....which signifies easy job.... lol.... Have been thinking of working in F&B line as i wanted to gain some experience and feel of working in fast food restaurant....know the operations and management of an outlet....so that next time i can venture into his area.... “民以食为天” is what prompts me that the food industry will never go BUST.... unless yr service and food sucks.....

Last but not the least.... Holiday trip in Bangkok with cousin bee and kitty.... though initially was excited....but the excitement sort of dulls away.... maybe it's because of financial constraints...and also dunno what i can buy over there ba..... will try to control my personal finance as that's my largest and weakest area in terms of money.... need to control it in order to invest in better products and gain higher returns....

Finally Completed the Major Milestone in my Nus Degree....the 8 Module Credit Project - CS3215: Information System Development Project.

Working for the past few months..... endless and countless busy nights and stay-in weekends just to code out the functions and features on time for submisson on 12 Nov 2009 5pm -> which they later postpone till 11:59pm.... me and my group mate stayed on till the last min before submission and we declared the end of this module....and end of programming in Netbeans EVER!!! It's such a pain to use netbeans....although we do have jokes around it some how...like some errors named "COBRA" .... "PERMGERM".... haha....a real fun lot to be with my team mate....after this module...some will graduate while others will stay on in school for another one more year to get our honours....hopefully and pray hard that we can score for it as we really put in alot of effort, time, blood and money(stay over in school and frequent dinner session in school) to complete the project..... WOW!!!

I can only say.... "Well Done guys!!!! WE MADE IT!!!"

Now focus on exams next on 3 Dec 2009.... wahahaha... after which is BKK tri

Stomach Flu Yet Again....

ahsun: =) What's wrong with me nowadays....getting sick so easily....that's untypical of me....maybe due to the lack of nutritional fruits....exercise.... and activities.....have been rushing assignments after assignments....projects after projects.... and busy busy busy..... even attempt to stay overnight in school for one day last week....maybe due to the fact that staying overnight reduces my immune system ability to protect my body....hence the stomach flu again..... the feeling is terrible lor....felt like dying with the pain in the tummy....damn it..... i dun wanna get it again.....

Next few weeks are crucial for the project deadline and also last rush for the major programming project le...due on 13 nov....hopefully can finish all the functionality as promised....dun wanna under perform during this period....hope all bugs and problems can be solved smoothly and quickly...no time to lose le..... until middle of nov only den can relax a bit....cos only got 2 papers to prepared for dec exams.... after that can await BKK liaoz..... my long awaited break ah... pls.... come faster ah.... =)

ahsun: =) Heard it over the radio.....Yes 3.3 Fm DJ peifen said her life is like a musical.... haha.... becos she explained every terms or conversation can be related to songs or lyrics sang by popular bands and artiste....i couldn't agree more to that....haha.... everytime when speaking to friends or doing projects etc..... themes of some songs will appear if "Key words" appear out of nowhere.... haha...like mayday -> nio bu shi zhen zheng de kuai le..... Shin - Shi Jie Mo Ri..... Cowboy -> zhou jie lun niu zai hen mang.... etc.....isn't life a musical for people who loves music....hahaha.... i find it quite interesting for her to relate it .... sometimes i do think it's true....like some of my friends who loved to sing.... i guess it will set them thinking that " eh... actually quite true huh...everytime whenever we bump into key terms / lyrics.... the song will just come into mind.... haha... Dunno what did i ate wrongly the past few days... the pain is haunting me still..... can it just go away on friday.... i dun wan it to spoilt any of my days already....Help Help~~~ I took poh chai pills....now the pain is still there....dead man.... usually Poh Chai Pills will help me "chase" away the pain....but now...it's not having any effects.....hmmm....what should i do...seek a doctor's help by tomorrow if nothing improves??? ahsun: =) Wow....the long-awaited first system release for my semester long project finally over.... haha.... rehearsal was on 1pm today and our presentation was scheduled to be on 3pm.....all was well when we ran through the rehearsal beforehand.... but...... A BUG WAS DETECTED...so there we were....trying to find and solve the bug.... lol..... luckily for us.... managed to solve it and went for the presentation..... this time round....we adopt something different from the norm....we use role playing to describe the scenario of different user types using our system...to portrait our system's function.... haha... well..i can say it well v smoothly...except for the evaluator....a bit....weird i guess...focus on minor details instead of our main functionalities....nevertheless....GOOD JOB Team~~~ hahaha....we have more to do....but i can feel the project coming to an end soon...one more month...let's jiayou ba~~

Siao Char Bo on the Loose....

ahsun: =) working at NTUC Lhub for 2 yrs....first time at the counter....got siao char bor at the counter....omg lor...... crazy woman talking to herself....browsing on the computers and weeping...laughing...... really 3 hrs of crazy shit....i even called the security.... haha...when the security came....they spoke to her and find out her intention of being here....she says that she wanna know more about NTUC insurance....crazy woman....i think she must have been through tremendous pressure or incident to become like that.....she speaks english, chines and hokkien.....though i find it quite funny for her to speak chinese to the indian workers at the counter....like WTf.... haha.....but anyway.....once she's tired from all the nonsense shit....she left.....without a trace... haha....lucky for us...spare us from the noise and nonsense.... lol..... quite ironic right.... one good alive and kicking person can go bonkers because of some incidents..... maybe it's just good to take things as they comes...and learn to let go of bad/old memories....to embrace new and happy ones....right??

ahsun: =) Wow Wow Wow.....6 consecutive days.....one project.....CS3214 is the sacred name..... rushing to the library early in the morning to chop seats.....ahaha... operating hrs was from 10am to 9pm... but when i reached around 10am....the open already open....people already rushing in to chop seats way beforehand.... haha.... what to do..... this confirms that i'm in SINGAPORE right.... haha....

Went up to the top level to find a table....have been going to the library for 2 days le....seeing some results really makes it worth while to come here early in the morning to get a good study environment and desk....haha.... i love the desk over at the library....height wise it's just nice.....chair is not too comfortable and not too hard.... view wise is great at level 4....i remember i used to come library during secondary school to mug with a group of friends....haha.... other than that... it's been a long long time since i have been here.... i'm just able to place my focus to my work over in the library with my laptop....

Just managed to finish my work allocated for cs3214....feel that i really need to read up on more tutorials and the framework used in the project....i was like practically dunno anything and was using them straight away....gave me a sense of danger...anything goes wrong and i'm dead....i dun like that kind of feeling.... mustn't be lazy anymore....time to wake up.... i need FOCUS~~ and determination.... after all the deadlines have been conquered....i shall play like there's no tomorrow...haha.... like what they always say.... "Work Hard... Play Hard"~~

ahsun: =) wooo.... stress ah....rushing project due for system release on next week.... sat,sun and today was basically sitting in my room....in front of my labtop and looking through forums,articles and codes from the internet. Finally settled down today and starts to code le...tmr still have meeting with adviser....need to finish some stuffs at least for integration and hopefully i can lor....in charge of the security of the project....hence mainly focusing on roles and user records in the system itself.... so i'm the "Security" man in the project....need to finish it off man....draining too much of my resources already....argh....damn it.... if only i was more well-versed in java.... hahaha.... need to hurry le....no time le.....~~~ i will survive this period of stress times de....jiayou everyone.... :)

ahsun: =) As stated in the blog post heading.....super busy month and the coming weeks as well.... rushing the famous "CS3214" Information System Development Project and other upcoming projects and tutorials as well....so busy and packed together.....almost can't breathe.....have to stay in school every day almost and held meetings, discussions, coding session...... *phew~

But....i believe i need to JIAYOU even more with the challenges ahead....because i know...if i dun...i will die at the mid-term BREAK crunch-time....which is when the deadlines are all popping-up..... so i need to FOCUS~

Recently took up a new challenge: i.e. teaching tuition for my Elder brother's daughter as she needs to prepare for her Primary 4 exams in the coming october....haha....aren't i'm asking for it??? Tuition when i'm so busy.....because i believe people make time for themselves...there'll always be time for other things if you PLAN....haha....so i make lots of planning to cater for the tuition lessons and balance my stuffs well.....clear off urgent and important tasks first before taking a break in between and move on again....with this mindset...i believe i will be able to achieve anything~ P4 maths is easy for me.....but to explain the concept behind the "closed doors" of my brain which i learnt like 10 yrs ago, it's kinda difficult....hence i need to look for youtube.com or online sources of tutorials/videos to find out what are the effective ways to teach a P4 kids maths... which i find them to be quite efficient and effective...haha ... hail the POWER of the INTERNET....lolx.... ***MUGGING TIME***

Blood Donation Drive....

ahsun: =) Wow.... was told that there was an blood donation drive on the 1 - 4 sept in NUS.... well.... being curious about donating blood....our project grp suggested to go have a try...since no harm.. WHY NOT? haha... so on 4th Sept....i was there at MPSH4 hall to do the necessary admin work and register for the blood donation itself. As there's a difference between online and walk-in registration, i have to queue quite some time for medical checkup, filling in the questionaire, measure blood pressure, certify that i'm healthy before donating blood due to the consequences involved with blood donation -> u don't wanna kill somebody just because your blood is unhealthy right??? haha.... and in return... u get satisfaction and accomplishment for doing so... Haha...i also got this sticker below as it's my first time donating blood.... lol.... "Be Nice to Me, this is my first donation~...." i guess serves as a warning to the medical staffs ba...lolx.....Blood donation isn't that painful after all.... had a small soveniour (a small stress-ball like heart shape ball) haha.... it's really nothing....to save a life....all they need is just 15 mins of your time.... woohooo... Cool right....

Wedding Dinner on 15 Aug 2009 + Jy's Birthday Chalet

ahsun: =) Wow....honoured am i to be able to open the groom's door yet again... (3rd time already) since i was young.... haha....i was asked by my cousin genie to open the door on her big day.....haha...WHY NOT....so there i was....witnessing the process of getting married....how to groom was "PLAYED OUT" by the bridesmaid and also how the brothers "fought" hand in hand....to win the hearts of the "door-guarders" and the key to enter the house....
Early morning there i was....sitting at one corner.....seeing "ah mmm" walking here and there....busy with the stuffs needed for the marriage and also procedures to do.....not forgetting the timing.....wow....wedding is really a big thing....den comes the groom's car and brothers in hand....they were like in cow boy hats and black suits....while the groom naturally in white suit....hahaha.....with cameraman and video man following throughout the journey....cant believe what i told the videoman actually went into the video clip for the wedding dinner night video showcase....omg....really paiseh lor....haha....nevertheless....it's a fun and great experience to witness a BIG EVENT...lolx....wedding.... Dinner was at this tanjong pagar nearby restaurant....which serves wedding dinner menu as well....and there were still patrons in the restaurant eating and chatting....haha.... kinda weird i thought....but food wise not bad....only managed to eat till the last 8th dish den i rush over to Pasir Ris for jy's birthday chalet....
The chalet was opened by lpx to mark the "oldening process" of ms chan....as she steps into the arena of "26".... haha.... thought everyone is staying so i brought along my clothes to change after the dinner itself...haha....even took a cab down.....but alighted at the wrong place.....no money in my wallet....wanna look for ATM to withdraw money but no ATM....#$%#$%#$ .... den end up i use VISA....to pay for the trip....which the cab driver keep telling me it's not good....WATEVER uncle....take it or leave it....gimme "FACE COLOR" somemore to see....
So i walk all the way into the costa sands resort.....long walk that was.....reach there....everyone just finished watching FD3 i guess....and the silent hills series on TV.....so busy that no one bother to take the cake out to celebrate....haha....anyway.... Lawrence give the cue to take out the cake and light the candles while i hold onto the cake itself....As usual sang birthday song....took photos....cut cake and present ceremony....EI0215 + Edwin all bought a HUGO BOSS watch for her birthday.....which i saw at CWP the day before the chalet itself....it just captured my attention....the watch...so i decide to buy it...haha.... not cheap leh..... :/
So after all that.... all of us stayed in the room to watch tv and DVD.... since rina,law,ryan,yukun about to go off le.... den all of us thinking what to do....but concludes to nothing....and since i brought my clothes along....so i stayed and slept in the living room lor.....haha.... Next morning went for breakfast and intend to go home to mug.....but was asked to stay and go WILD WILD WET.....which i never went for a long long time la....so went lor....haha.....quite fun to try out all the usual stations and slides all that....a great getaway to be on a hot and warm sunday.... acted as photographer for the gals while they move from station to station.....haha....had lotsa fun lar....after that....night time lawrence came to join us after dinner and we went out to sit on the benches along the pool and started singing old sch...haha....great experience to reminsce about the past songs....lol....after that took cab home with law lor....so tired....

Took my nephew for movie watching on Friday 21 August 2009 as he pester me to bring him go....thinking it might be a good movie...why not? haha.... not bad for the animation.....nicely done... and also the plot were good....characters are all v funny....especially "gavin", "russell" and "Carl Fredricksen".... lol....love the scenes and dialogue/quotes from the movie lor....everyone should watch it to have a good laugh....

ahsun: =) Have you ever wonder whether that person who will appreciate your effort or hard work have came across your life, presently in your life or haven't meet him/her yet.... well...definition of appreciate: "to be grateful or be thankful" I just wonder whether sometimes things that you do, put in effort and heart to do it....does people know/realize it? or they're just oblivious to what you're doing and thinking what you do is "naturally what you supposed to do"....some "special treatment" which shouldn't happen because things have already change? Or really should i care what others think of me as a person/friend? does it really matters to me???? i don't know....

Sometimes, people tends to retain their old habits without realizing it.... without noticing that it might be time to change that old habit....try something new....try something out of the rule....out of the norm.... to create a new path....and not walk onto path that others have already created.... so as to live the life that you want...not what others want you to .....

Just some random thoughts on appreciation and life's path to select... fight the norm....go for the extraordinary....isn't that what makes entreprenuers and businessman??? hahaha.....

ahsun: =) Have been trying v vvvvv hard to type in my blog post....wow...finally blogger is ok le....(dunno whether's it's just mine or what) haven't been able to write posts when i have the 'feel'... Nevertheless.... need to write a series of post before i get back to work....let me recall what have i done for the past 2 weeks or so.... heh....

Malacca Trip: Ok... Date is 8-10th august....had a very tiring but layback life over at malacca.... First thing is we (Me, Jinyan, Rina & Karen aka Lao Cai) meet over at lavendar mrt to take the coach service from Korsortium Coach Services from SG to Melaka lor....early in the morning .... who knows....ALOT of SG people were going to M'sia at the same time....guess what??? TRAFFIC JAM FOR 4 HRS....shitty lor....but the ride in the coach made me slp and wake up and slp again....felt so drowsy.... haha....

Reached Melaka around 2:30Pm... den stupiud taxi driver dunno where the hostel is....made us go round and round....even asked for an $5 increase from $20....initially dun wanna give him de....but the 3 gals said maybe can jus give him...to avoid any trouble....really...doh de....hmmm....reached the Little Nonya Youth Hostel...to realised no aircon and the weather super hot.... haha....but at a very very affordable rate...and the friendly guide over there...Raj....shown us our rooms and give me the keys for the main door and our room....show us the shared bathroom, toilet and the locations to go for food and sightseeing....

After settling down, yan was having some giddy spells...so me,rina and lao cai went 7-11 to buy some panadol for her....the traffic there....is like risking yr self to cross the road....haha....learnt to be more daring when crossing the roads over there....or else u can just stay at the roadside till night time.... after buying the pills and letting her rest a while...we went out to explore the area at Equatorial Hotel, which was the hotel i was trying to book but was fully booked....haha....the toilet there v nice...and we saw the Jap Buffet Promotion there....so it became our 1st Dinner at melaka....haha....

Also went over to the megamall opp the hotel and walk awhile....it's really damn big...and the stuff...more or less...cheaper a bit...we went into hk cafe at their shopping centre for the curry fishball and some mini food before the dinner....one word... NICE~ haha.... yan even says it taste like those she had in HK... haha...must go HK to try it next time....After savouring our appetite awhile and walking ard the mall...Dinner time was ringing...thus we went back to the hotel and had our dinner there....the food....hmmm...i give 7/10 plus the setting and ambience, service attitude of the staffs were quite friendly....service was prompt and food was good....but the crowd is a bit small there....maybe m'sia dun like jap food ba....haha....

After dinner on our way back to the hostel, we met Raj and he mentioned he was also on the way back to the hostel and can show us around....haha....thank god he's there to show us the way...Raj is really v friendly and good lor.... so whenever i think if melaka....i will think of Raj....haha...not those red church ah....jonker street is where we went....it's quite a burstling street with stalls like those over at BKK chatuchak.... but smaller scale though.... all of us even stopped over for some custom designed handphone pouch and keychains....it's really very nice and cute...haha...i had mine for the words "ahsun" and the gals also had some for their friends and closed ones.... haha.... even Raj also had one tailored made for his wife....lol....

After sweating and drying and sweating again...we're out of Jonker street....haha...went over to visit the Melaka River...walk along it...took some photos...and saw the eye of m'sia which was on the itenerary for day 2....ha... and the ferris wheel was moving damn fast lar....haha...scary....had some funny photo taking sessions....haha....also walked past the big ship museum .... and the "hairy" trees over at the park nearby the premises.... Raj also told us there's a wishing well right at the top of the park... haha... so we thought maybe we can go during day 2....after reaching back the hostel... Raj even brought us to his friend's stall for Roti Prata....and shown us where the famous satay celup was...

So do check out the photos after this...gonna upload on sunday i guess...busy these days.... stay tuned for day 2 melaka....heehee....

Google Maps for Blogs or website...

ahsun: =) Now it's so easy to create a map for your own website or using it as a directional guide for readers online.... with google maps.... the map can be printed online and also will be a real time map.... i.e. move around and using it to search other locations... more information can be found at maps.google.com... firstly u will need to have a google account and also just need to select the location that the map suppose to display....and copy-paste the source code as an javascript/html code and there u got it.... haha....

Gathering always brings back great memories...

ahsun: =) Well last friday was one of my Sea Soldier fren birthday....and a few of us from the same batch decided to meetup for a dinner near lavendar....it's a claypot fish head and over there...long queues are expected everyday...but as we have got "connections" with their boss over there...we managed to find a seat as soon as we've reached there... met up with han rong, chao hong, leon, gary, marcus (joined us later when we head to geylang for roaming)...

The name of the shop is Nam Hwa Chong Fish-Head Steamboat Corner(南华昌（亚秋）鱼头炉) @ ....but i heard it's quite famous in that area...somewhere near concourse and arab street that area.. their details as follows :

Haha...i was just blindly following others as i didn't know how to get there lor.... the food there was nice....and also affordable... heard it was setup by an uncle leon known....and therefore our food also came unexpectedly fast... lol....

Initially thought alot of people were coming but end up most "fly kites" and never came... i was like last met them 2 years ago after i "ORDed" from Changi Naval Base... so it was quite a great and also weird feeling to meetup with them again ba.... our topics revolved around the ns days....when we were "tekan" but crazy instructors at our training base....and also doing ridiculous things in our bunk.....taking weird photos and funny memories...

Haha... also i missed that period...which our brotherhood were established... and also.... that was the period i was very very fit...almost running swimming everyday due to the strict requirement set by the senior warrant over there.... but nevertheless....tough days made tough guys right.... haha.... all of went went through the rough time and build a bond between us.... haha....really missed the memories over there....

After that hanrong, chao hong or gary suggested we go geylang to roam around since it's been long since they head there for good food....haha....and also to look at chicks lar...u know...men's activities...lolx.... but we were quite suay as there's a police raid....all the "chicks" were gone....only left workers and tonnes of workers roaming the streets...haha...eventually we managed to find a coffee shop to drink, chat a while when marcus arrived.... haha... as usual he's always made fun of.... and the centre of the joke revolving around him la....lol.... but he's quite an interesting person....always so "gan cheong"...lol...

After the session, all of us decided to go home, Leon offered to send me home although he lived in Toa Payoh...haha... as usual he'll offered help even though it's not on the way....that's Leon...always there and will always be there for you even it's not even convenient for him....haha... he's the symbol for brotherhood lor...haha.... maybe i should create a list of symbols for characters....using my friends as a gauge for fun....it'll be interesting.... hahaha..... Hope we'll meetup soon ok Sea Soldiers.... for now let's work hard on our own areas in life journey ba.... Takecare everyone~~ =)

My First Driving Outing~

Yeah.... after getting my driving license... i promised to go outing with rina, edwin, yan and we decided on a bar called buckaroo near sembawang.... over there...mainly are landed properties and it's near to sembawang park too....quite inaccessible but... not when i got my dad's pickup to drive....haha.... although driving it for the first time felt uncomfortable and also abit unsteady....but i tried to drive slow and get used to the "feel" for the pickup....wahaha.... so we arranged to meet around 730pm at their blocks near yishun swimming complex.... so i asked for the car keys from dad and went out as early as 630pm as i haven't got my P-plate....haha... so i drove to the petrol kiosk to get the p-plate and put it on first....as novice driver need to show the p plate to other drivers "Stay away from me.... i buay zai one.... haha" and at least they will understand why i drive so slow....

After that i went to pickup yan first before going to rina's void deck and pick her up.... so i drove along sembwang road to the area and found a parking lot (*Luckily not alot of people w/ vehicle over there....my parallel parking need more practice....) so there we are at the bar table 21.... haha.... looking at the menu.... we ordered western food and not forgetting the spicy chicken wings (*famous over there).... after trying the food...it's nice.... and the chicken tasted great....ambience over there also good for gatherings...the chicken wings made all our lips burned and hot....haha.... numbness was the result after eating the wings.... but overall...it's a highly recommended place for friends gathering or couple's private dinner as it's not v crowded over there during weekdays....

After dinner, we went to sembawang park to take a walk....digest abit....walk around....took some funny photos...and also tried out the playground over there....realized the playground is a bit too high for children to play....quite dangerous....maybe the authorities should review the dangers... haha....but i loved to play the swing the most...even though i have fear of heights...haha... i love the feeling of the wind blowing at your face when u're at the highest point before surging forward.... childhood memories .... haha.... enjoy the photos ba~~
